- Pam Ayers was a big star in the Seventies, at a time when British comedy regularly dominated NZ television screens. Seen here interviewed on TV, Pam displays her comic bent for the absurd. Watch also for a short segment of Diana Dors at the end of this clip....

Such a treasure. Good to see she is still performing.
Why a treasure?

We went to see Pam in St.Albans last week, she has not lost any of that lovely funny charm that has made people love her the world over for all these years, she was bloody great! Hope to go and see her again.
Loved her poems at school in the 70a & 80s. In nz " I wish I looked after my teeth"
Such a talented funny lady and a proper hottie back in the day ❤️
She was very funny and natural.
Still is. ;)
Such a sweetheart! I wish I could have met her when we were both young... ;)
Yikes!
Such a funny lady
❤️
The interviewer didn't seem that well prepared and relied heavily on Pam to keep the conservation going.
I would NOT Call him a dodgy geezer. His name was Ray Woolf and in the 1960s and 70's he was a very well known singer and entertainer on NZ Television Screens!!
SereniaSaissa when I saw this I actually said out loud "Aww Ray Woolf" late 70s early 80s NZ variety TV in a nutshell...Billy T James, Prince Tui Teka, Howard Morrison, Ray Woolf and Ray Columbus!
Yes Ray Woolf is great...i love him...my favourite song was "Dont Let Me Lose You"...he won the studio one singing competition with that song💙💙💙

She used to babysit a friend of mine in her WRAF days.
NO!!! Pam is not wearing "Prossy" boots, "see the date 1979;-" towards the end of an era when any self respecting female wore a pretty dress combination, and gorgeous knee boots!! unlike today 2023 when the height of sophistication appears to be scuffed flip flops and crumpled night dress for outside everyday wear!!.
I wish i'd looked after my teeth😋
(We all wished we had looked after our teeth) ;)
Did Hugh Jackman go back in time to present this segment?
It's Ray Wolfe.RIP
