- "PULSE" is a visionary short film from indigenous Mexican-American filmmaker Jade Sanchez, electronic music artist Numatik, and their shared production company, Earth Based Media. The dance film with an original soundtrack was born with the intention of bringing women together to create shapes and ripples that can only be made when they are in sync together. Inspired by the concept of UNITY, an indigenous and universal principle, each individual played an important role to bring this film into being. The feminine spirit is always pulsing, expanding, shapeshifting, forming, and evolving. This film is a visual poem about the feminine in her fluidity.

Wow!! I was not expecting such a treat to all my senses. Ladies , this was phenomenal. The cinematography, the colors, the clothing changes with the essences of the elements, perfection!! I could feel the Shakti❤❤❤ This piece moved me in my heart & womb. So grateful to you all!! The River scene was just incredible magic. I felt the deep gratitude & a deep remembrance for Mother Earth, Divine Feminine & feeling the Kundalini rise& the magic we have to be alchemists with our bodies & sovereignty. Fluidity and this type of movement is so good. It’s not just a dance it’s a knowing & remembering &honoring our ancestors , connection to self and other women /tribe & a phenomenal tool to tap in. I have been in the process lately of a deep return to my body, voice, and expression through dance. Along with the desire to work in new ways with groups of women. This film made me weep tears of relief, reclamation, homecoming, release of the grief of having so long lost these very things. This essence flowing, emanating out from this film.
So beautiful, so deeply powerful in awakening what I need to remember.

Congratulations 👏 on birthing this stunning 😍 masterpiece. I truly loved all the outfits, from the colors to the jewelry, and how they swayed with the wind. All of the dancers were gorgeous goddesses. I loved the choreography and how the cinematographer got it from bird eye view and got specific close ups and follow the rhythm of the pulse. Bravo, kudos and gracias por esta hermosura.
