This is my all-time favorite "Irish" song ever. It is different with each singing. Emmet Cahill does a beautiful version, but this B & K version is absolutely beautiful...... I swear, their voices get better every day........

They mention a wedding ring, but they also say they see his blood upon the rose. Can someone please give me the origins of this song, please.
Never mind.....I googled Mr. Plumket and sort of figured out why he was executed. Shame. How many all around the world have been gaoled or executed in the name of revolution.
I can tell you first hand Neil is just fine. The next day we played kickball and he is quite the athlete. He has always been trim but throws down quite the swift kick. lol
