@@rileyellsworth575 I'm sure it hurts at least a little. 83 mph is slow as far as pitches go, but that's still a high rate of speed to get hit with a solid object.
A-Rod followed that up with an RBI, a single, and bomb. I know people already know this, but that was probably Girardi’s best moment and A-Rod didn’t let it go to waste.
Where is the one of Bryce Harper getting hit vs the SF Giants. It was so obvious and dumb that the SFG catcher didn't try to stop Harper from charging the mound. Even Mad Bum stayed in the dugout
If it was the one with strickland pitching im glad he got rocked he threw at him over an incident that happened like 3 years ago and that little baby decided to throw at him and lose the fight
Why do baseball managers get to berate people they work with? For most other jobs, you'd get canned in a second. Maybe that's why they are involved in a children's game. Never grew up and learned how to handle themselves when things don't go their way.
@@charleynewman4783 A baseball thrown at these speeds is literally a deadly weapon; what sucks is proving without a shadow of a doubt that the pitcher threw intending to cause bodily harm. I still remember the scene from 42 where Robinson's teammate instructed their pitcher to plunk a guy in the head after Jackie got stepped on, and that was before batting helmets. Pretty fucked up...
Will always love that Ryan Dempster plunked ARod, just like he said he was going to. LOL
That clip of Weaver plunking Seager is properly old-school and Bob Gibson would be proud
Yeah it must really hurt getting drilled at 83 mph lmao

Kyle or Corey
Such a different game now.

Funny Harper went from getting intentionally hit by the Phillies to being the heart of their city.
Where’s Roger Dorn in all this?
Protecting that face! Lol
I hate when the umps gives warnings even if it is an accident that is just flat out wrong
Bad take. Umps can’t know what’s an “accident” and what’s not. Warnings are to help not escalate things further.

@@Diehardbucsfan it caused another Giants pitcher to get hurt. I believe he collided with another Giants player.

They should be charged with assault.
It is baseball so they can’t be charged with assault and they don’t want to cause harm they just want to scare the batter
What?
