    If your car stalls or idles roughly, several common causes may be contributing to the issue. Consider the following possibilities:
    Dirty or clogged air filter.:
    The air filter prevents dirt and debris from entering the engine. If it becomes dirty or clogged, it can restrict airflow to the engine, resulting in rough idling and stalling.
    Clogged fuel filter:
    The fuel filter screens out contaminants from the fuel before it reaches the engine. If it becomes clogged, it can restrict fuel flow to the engine, leading to rough idling and stalling.
    Malfunctioning idle control valve:
    The idle control valve regulates the amount of air that enters the engine while idling. If it becomes dirty or malfunctions, it can cause the engine to run roughly or stall.
    Faulty ignition system:
    A faulty ignition system, including bad spark plugs, ignition coils, or a distributor, can cause the engine to misfire, run roughly, or stall.
    Engine sensors:
    Modern cars are equipped with various sensors that monitor engine performance, such as the oxygen sensor, mass airflow sensor, and throttle position sensor. If one of these sensors fails or malfunctions, it can lead to rough idling and stalling.
    Vacuum leaks:
    A vacuum leak occurs when air enters the engine through a hole or crack in the vacuum system. This can cause the engine to run either lean or rich, resulting in poor engine performance, rough idling, or stalling.
    Dirty throttle body:
    The throttle body controls the amount of air that enters the engine. If it becomes dirty or clogged, it can cause the engine to run roughly or stall.

    My Subaru stalled on my way to work this morning and I’m in absolute shock. No noise, nothing! I’m still trying to figure out the issue.

      @@RoseQuartz-l8c the sudden stall without noise might indicate a loss of electrical power or fuel supply, but there’s not enough information to pinpoint the issue. It’s best to have your vehicle checked by a mechanic to diagnose the exact problem.

    Can fuel pump be a factor? My car engiens dies at very low speed..either when i am stopping and rpm is very low or when i am about to accelerate after shopping most time when im on a little slope or having like 3 or 4 people in the car

    • @Viosified
      @Viosified  Před 9 měsíci +3

      Yes, a faulty fuel pump or clogged fuel filter or injectors can cause stalling. It could be a combination of factors.

      @@ViosifiedI recently had filled up half a tank with v power nitro which is know to have additives that clean your fuel lines and injectors. Shortly after this I drove on the free way for about 5 miles then as I came to my exit and hit a red light my car started shaking super bad on idle and sounded terrible. Soon after the engine shut off but it turned on right away and performed fine for about a mile, once I made it to my apartment the issue was still there and my engine shut off once more. After that the problem went away and I did some laps around my apartments to make sure. What do you think this could’ve been, could this have been a result of the gas’s cleaning my fuel tank and lines and the degree getting clogged up the fuel filter? Or is this a more serious problem.

    • @Viosified
      @Viosified  Před 13 dny

      @@hectortha Theoretically, if the additives in V-Power Nitro gas indeed cleaned the fuel lines, the dislodged debris or sludge in the fuel system could temporarily clog the fuel filter or injectors, leading to rough idling, engine shaking, or even stalling, as you've described. If the issue doesn't return, it was likely a temporary clog or disruption in the fuel flow. However, if the problem recurs, it would be wise to have your mechanic check for potential blockages or contaminants in the fuel system. He should also consider running a full diagnostic to rule out other causes or issues.

    Is coolant leaking a cause too?

    • @Viosified
      @Viosified  Před 4 měsíci

      It's not the most common cause but if the leak is severe enough it can be a factor. I mean, if the leakage is such that it affects coolant sensors or other engine management components, then yes. Malfunctioning coolant sensors can provide inaccurate readings to the engine control unit, leading to improper fuel delivery & ignition timing, which can cause rough idling & other performance issues.
