  • Canadian trainer Alexandre Chalkewitch and his demonstrators Patrick Rucinski and Ella Nusenbaum, CAN, collaborated with WDSF in creating free "You Training DanceSport" resources. The video was recorded in August 2011 at the DanceSport Centre Stuttgart-Feurebach. WDSF wishes to acknowledge the support of Alexandre, the demonstrators Patrick and Ella, as well as of the TSZ Stuttgart-Feuerbach.

    Thank you for sharing this wonderful waltz lecture. I appriciate it for many reasons but especially for picking a great dance couple with an even greater demonstration dance outfit!!!

    Beautiful to watch but very difficult to follow the footwork...would like to see the same demonstration with one partner dressed in black and the other dressed in white.

    통상 보편적인 스핀에서는 스웨이 동작을 하지 않는데 여기서의 스핀에서 사용하는 스웨이 동작은 매우 진취적입니다.

    Their technique is wrong. There should be not be any sway on spins!

      cambdancer There is no right and wrong in subjective aesthetics. The whole point of the demo was to illustrate how the combinations of sway, timing, elevation change the look of the "standard" execution. Standards go in and out of fashion.
