I really do appreciate the time and effort Matt puts in to food challenges. All he had to do was eat 216 bars and we'd be happy, but he made a perfect giant beast bar instead.

Like the giant mcflurry, a giant cotton candy.. and when posed with the problem of not having a chocolate bar large enough to eat, rather than just go for quantity, he went for quality, with the quantity inside.

Every time I watch a video with a giant candy bar involved it makes me think of the time my dad was working at this truck stop. My dad on multiple occasions came home with large quantities of random food items from trucks breaking down and just giving it away since it's gonna spoil anyway. We were barely recovering from the massive amounts of garlic bread stuffed in our big deep freezer when he brings home like 4 giant halloween almost life-size tombstone hershey chocolate bars. Can honestly say 11/10 the cavities were worth it 👌

I’ve watched him since 2015, and he was THE MAN to go to when you had a craving but didn’t want to eat it in real life.
I had a horrible eating disorder that took up most of my teenage years, and I remember watching Matt and getting to pretend to eat all the food through him lol. Living through him a little bit.
Years later, my relationship with food is so much healthier, but I still enjoy Matt Stonie’s videos and his skill.
So thank you, Matt Stonie. It’s really cool having seen him grow so much and get so much recognition. And I don’t know, it’s just really cool to have gone through my own food journey and be able to appreciate it and relate to it in a healthy way now. Actually, he stopped because that amount is actually extremely dangerous. If you eat 85 chocolate bars you would *DIE* . I'm not joking. This is because 85 chocolate bars contain enough theobromine to kill you. In the video he had a bar equivalent to 52 bars. Therefore, he quit for his safety. Eating anymore could potentially get very dangerous quickly.
