    Mornings are my favorite time of day to nurture myself in the glow of a new day💚 You are so right in noting how a good morning sets the stage for a great day🌻 I am going to take your advice on checking my “agenda”! I’ve contemplated using one but just couldn’t see where to incorporate it into my day💗 I really appreciate the tip🤗 Thanks Meghan🌻

    I always keep the bedsheets down after I get up in the morning. It airs out the bed with a warm sun/ air.. It may not look beautiful but I feel that its releases any moisture, hopefully kills mites & just airs out the bed...

    Hi : ) one thing I started doing was charge my phone in another room of my house. It's great to wake up and not check your phone first thing in the day, I was so happy that I actually forgot to take it with me haha. This video made me happy, having a peaceful morning is awesome

    It's crazy how much better my sleep got when I started leaving my phone on my desk instead of on my bedside table. I have M.E and my sleep is usually rubbish, but after I started doing it, I now get at least two hours more sleep and I don't tend to wake up in the night. I always had my phone in aeroplane mode anyways but for some reason not having it on a level with my head helps so much! x

    Great video!! I suffer from bad tension headaches due to bad anxiety/panic disorder. Any tips to help with this? Thanks! :)

    • @Gigglypeach
      @Gigglypeach Před 6 lety +1

      Hi there, I know i'm not Meghan but I have the same disorder! and I found I was getting tension headaches from clenching my jaw down realllly hard when I am anxious (which is all the time!). Getting a teeth guard from my dentist to wear overnight really helped! I also try not to watch screens in dark rooms too much and have some facial exercises to do to relieve the tension, which i found on youtube. Some simple breathing exercises (I like doing in for 6 counts out for 8) and some gentle yoga moves are also great! I'm sure Meghan can advise some more helpful things. Hope they start to get better, I know they're awful to have as well as being anxious! ❤️ x

      @meghanlivingstone  Před 6 lety +1

      These are all wonderful, wonderful tips! I agree with all of them :) Magnesium is also great for relaxation and muscle tension. Focusing on general de-stressing strategies is key - I have a few videos specifically on this topic, and I'd be happy to make more anxiety related videos in the future :)

    • @Emile4643

      Gigglypeach Thank-you so much for replying and with some great tips!! I will definitely checkout some jaw exercises and talk to my dentist. Have a great weekend!! :)

      Meghan Livingstone Thanks Meghan! I have been thinking of taking Magnesium but any new pills scare me :(
      Is there a certain brand you would recommend? Do you know if they interfere with prescription drugs? More videos on this would be AWESOME!! :)

    Did I see a linen duvet cover? Do you have linen sheets too? What brand and color is your duvet cover? 'Natural'? 'Oatmeal'?

  • @CentsibleLivingWithMoneyMom

    • @meghanlivingstone
      @meghanlivingstone  Před 6 lety +3

      I work from home a lot of the time, and I usually get up around 8am. Sometimes earlier, sometimes a little later. I feel best getting up in the 7am or 8am hour :) I sometimes stay up late also, having that consistent bedtime is key, but it be so hard sometimes! Thanks for watching xoxo

    Great job Meghan Livingstone, but you should try to go whole-plant-based diet. I see you are getting there, but you can keep improving. Eggs are super high in cholesterol, why don't you switch that for tofu or there is a vegan brand that is making the substitute for eggs that people say that taste like eggs just better, the brand is JUST, and are eggs made from plants, especially from a type of bean. And putting oil to your veggies does wrong to our health and arteries, try steaming and boiling for better use of them. For having fats, you can eat avocado, nuts and seeds. Many vegan foods have more protein than we actually need. Go to Cronometer and check out the nutrients of the foods, you will see that animal protein is not necessary for the well-being and that going vegan you can have more than enough of the nutrients than you have with the animal products. There are many Vegan channels here on youtube that you can check out to have all the information to better nutritional knowledge, like PLANT BASED NEWS, Mic the Vegan, Simmet Nutrition, Dr Klaper, Nutrition Facts.org, Doctor Greger, Livekindly, Pick Up Limes(for recipes), etc. Hope you see into it and keep your great journey towards a better life. Peronally, just to make sure the day starts in the best possible way, I would also squeeze in intercorse between the glass of water and making the bed.
