I stopped and watched only out of curiosity. I've seen Metal Blade promote Ensiferum before, but never actually heard them. Once the music started playing in the background, I knew I'd have to hear more.
I'm glad that music has its cycles. What I wasn't a fan of 10 years ago, I suddenly find more interesting.

I must say that I'm really glad Ensiferum has entered my life at certain point and I spent my young years with them. It's been a fantastic time! And even though I'm just one of many fans, knowing that I'll grow old with this band, still returning to their songs whenever I want to have a little moment of epicness in my life just feels amazing. Thank you so much for your work and all the good you brought to me! 😊

Nosturi is a pretty legendary place not only in Helsinki but for so many Metal bands in Europe. Pretty much every decently big ish band has played there at least once.

The background music made me realize this album might actually be really good, sounds unique and not like the last two albums that sounded like every other "viking metal band" out there.
TBF the problem isn't that Ensiferum "sounds like every other viking metal band", it's that every other viking metal band sounds like Ensiferum. Remember, these guys were one of the creators of the genre, along with Amorphis, Moonsorrow, Finntroll, Korpiklaani and Turisas. All bands that combined folk music with metal in the mid-90's, and then everyone else started copying them

If you visit Helsinki for rock/metal travelling, you should go Kallio and nearby districts, and not hang around in th city center. Expect for gigs and there's also smaller cool clubs are in Kallio district.

Why the hell would Norther reunite? Like, why do people even want that? Nearly all Finnish bands go on way too long as it is and Norther even did that. Why can't people just let go... they ran their course and released some great albums.

@@fartz3808 Nordic people sometimes have eyes like that, it's got nothing to do with asiatic ancestry. For example the Icelandic singer Björk has very asiatic eyes. I get the Finland/mongolia thing is a meme, but it is kind of tiresome, the mongols never came close to Finland, but they did get to other places in Europe like Ukraine and the balkans. Mongolians have about as much to do with Finland as the Native Americans do with Germany
