    Does Edema cause cell injury or damage?

    • @medtoday
      @medtoday  Před 3 lety +1

      Not apparently. But sometimes it is possible; especially in pulmonary edema, the edematous fluid may impair the perfusion to the cells and may cause ischemic injury. Anyway it is not an important fact to remember

    • @medtoday

      Cell death could be either physiological or pathological. Premature cell death usually occurs in pathological conditions. In the video, I discuss about pathological cell injury. So, the causes are included in the video.
