Several locals have asked to see a "heightened perspective" of the Westside Parkway at Stockdale Highway and also the intersection at Stockdale and Enos Ln/Highway 43. Both are located on the west outskirts of Bakersfield California.
Today I stopped and did a couple flyovers to share with you all so you can see the progress out on the west end of the project. The westside parkway currently merges into Stockdale Highway, but it looks like there is going to be some major changes in this section as well.
Take a look at the video and tell me what you think.

DC first let me say thank you for taking your time to give us a "Heightened Perspective" of this extreme West End of the Westside Parkway Enos Lane AKA Highway 43 and Stockdale Highway new roundabout as far as the Westside Parkway goes I guess I'll have to go out there and check can't tell what's going on exactly looks like they're going to extend Heath Road to cross to the south side of Stockdale Highway and some other road is out close there I think that's Brimhall and then of course you can see all the construction for houses little streets laid out yet to come but I'm really curious if they're going to actually extend the freeway Westside Parkway that is and are they going to go under or over Stockdale Highway I will have to do some more investigation myself but thank you for the "Heightened Perspective" you're awesome DC God bless have a great weekend.

I ran into a "low battery" situation while filming over the Stockdale Hwy and Heath Road section, so the drone did an automatic "fly home" which made me cut the video short. I wanted to do a bit more analysis on that area.
With the amount of development taking place, i'll get back out there next month for an updated video. Please "stay tuned" :-)

@@TheHeightenedPerspective DC it was very much appreciated that you went out there and did the filming that you did it was fantastic it made me look deeper into the project went over some old nuke newscasts here locally and the one newscast showed an alignment of the extension where it does cross over to the south of Stockdale Highway and then runs parallel to Stockdale Highway 4 or till it gets about a mile maybe a half a mile from Interstate 5 and then it turns at a 45 degree angle to the South so it connects perpendicular to Interstate 5 approximately in the middle between Highway 43 Crossing Interstate 5 and the exit 4 Stockdale Highway
