I just made a biscuit sock and it was really fun! The fit was really great, the heel and toe techniques were new to me which was exciting and it's a yarn guzzler so great for stash busting. For me I think the pair will take about two skeins.
That’s great, that really makes me want to cast on soon haha
I just found your channel and I was looking for a hot water bottle cover and love your suggestion.
I too have a small CZcams channel and love when I find someone new to me to share what we love to do.
Thanks for the nice suggestions 💖🎅🏼🎄
Thanks so much 😊 let me know which water bottle cover you’ll make!
a fellow knitter that’s also a bookworm?? immediately subbed! 🧺🌸📚
Guess I gave myself away filming in front of my bookshelves haha 🤭 thanks for subscribing!
@@nestledinknits yes and I immediately spotted some of my faves!! I love v.e. schwab!
She's one of my faves too!! I was going to ask which one is your favorite but I personally wouldn't be able to choose
Just found you and have subscribed. This video was very much appreciated. Merry Christmas
Thanks so much! Merry Christmas to you too!
I knit the Pioneer Gloves for my mother this year (I send her an advent package, something to open every day), she's opened them already and loves them.
Oh that’s so nice 🥰
Very nice idea video! I look forward to seeing your own work
Thanks so much! I'll post my 4th podcast next week on Friday :)
Merci pour le partage de ces patrons, les mitaines sont trop belles et les housses de bouillottes aussi 😍 je vais devoir apprendre à tricoter un jour
Avec plaisir 😊
Thank you for sharing these. I really like your pattern suggestions. I would like to make the Pioneer mitts and possibly the hair bow.
I’m not sure that hot water bottles are that popular in the US. I’ve been seeing patterns for them but I don’t ever remember seeing hot water bottles in stores here. I wonder if it’s a European thing. How long do they stay hot?
Thanks so much, would love to see your FOs if you end up knitting them!
I didn't realise hot water bottles weren't common in the US 😅 here we use them often in the winter and during the other months for period cramps! It depends if you use boiling water (from the kettle) which isn't necessarily recommended but then it can stay hot for hours (at least 4 or 5 I'd say, if I put it in my bed to warm it up it stays hot all night long), if not it gets "cold" after 2 hours
Have knit a couple of hot water bottle covers, very cozy up here in Canada.
Thank you for this video. I downloaded the Nalu Mitts and started swatching 🧶😁
Oh lovely, which colour are you using? ☺️
I have some 100% wool in my stash which I dyed with onion skins a few years ago.🙂. I’ll let you know how I get along..
Excited to see the result!
