Nokonoshima Island Park 🏝️ Flower Paradise, Perfect Day Trip From Fukuoka City

Nokonoshima Island is just 10 minutes by ferry from the Meinohama Terminal in Fukuoka City. Nokonoshima Island Park is located on the northern tip of the island. This park is filled with blooming flowers throughout all four seasons. It's a perfect place to enjoy picnics and barbeques. Also, it's a quick retreat into nature from the nearby city.

Yes, buses are running on the island.

We purchased the round-trip ferry tickets on-site. You won't need to reserve tickets in advance. I would recommend checking the ferry schedule in advance though.

May i ask what bus did you take from hakata station. Is it a public bus or a designated bus that goes to the port. :)

We took a public bus. I believe it was Nishitetsu Bus 301 or 302. 312 also goes to the port from Hakata Station.
