Today Neil and myself head south to the channel tunnel to cross over the English channel into France. In this video I show you a first hand account of the check-in process and the passport checkpoints for both France and England.

Your passport was checked by the French in the last booth at Folkestone so when u arrive you can simply go there is no check in France all done on UK side first UK then French check.. that's it guys.🙂🇬🇧👍

Had a mint time. Best holiday ive had in ages. Its one place you have to visit. I might be going back in a month or so. Not sure yet, depends on weather and that. Just watched your Balla video, how are you liking the GS and how does it compare to the trumpet? Fasty-Rides
@@FastyRides give me a shout if you fancy some company pal, loving the GS, far superior to the Trumpet, I’m missing that triple acceleration though tbh, very different way of riding. Very relaxed which suits me fine in all fairness. Once she gets up there she flys pal, esp now I’ve discovered Dynamic Pro mode 😂😂😂 loving it though pal, awesome bike and it’s perfect for the long haul stuff. 👍

Is there a petrol station on the french side before you get onto the motorway?
no, as soon as you get off the train you are more or less straight onto the motorway, there isnt even much of an area to pull up. But when you get onto the motorway there is plenty of parking. I would say at least every 2 miles there are decent parking areas with toilets and all that. Ive just had a look on the map and there is a total energies petrol station inside the eurotunnel train station, on the french side. Fasty

In the 80s the ferry cost about a tenner and you could turn up on spec. Much less traffic, no speed cameras.
Hi Tom. We came back on the ferry, for something different. It was my first time abroad on my bike. So it was all new to me. But what a place France is. I'm going back in a month to the Alps for a week. Fasty
I remember going by bike on a Sunday day trip for a £5.00, main purpose a wonderful cheap lunch compared to U.K. shops/supermarkets closed. On Sundays the roads were empty, no trucks. All changed now with Eastern European drivers flouting the law somehow? I believe it’s £40.00 for a bike day trip these days.

Hiya, first check what COVID requirements you need to enter France. Then book your ticket for the train, turn up on time, then get in the que to enter.it literally is that easy. Also get all your gear back on before you leave the train as there is no were to pull up once your off the train in France. fasty p.s I envy you, France is bloody mega.
