    Great review yet again buddy. First of my comments is the legality of the speed...I'd definitely argue the case in court, aspeople buy high performance cars, 150-200 mph, but unless the car is actually breaking the speed limit, there isn't a case against someone with the ebikes. Just because we can, doesn't mean we will. Think that's a great little bike...folding is a great option to my cargo laden one. You are 100% right on the peddles, love the way they fold away when transporting or storing, but as you mentioned, we need bigger peddles that do this and peddles with a decent grip. Overall,I really love the look of this one. Happy trails buddy, may even see you over there at some point...I'm always falling there and looking around to make sure I wasn't seen hitting the deck 😂 And as for the horse crap...put around your roses 😂 Best wishes from Chislehurst

      Thanks for your support, I do like the BK11 better as the frame feels more rigid. Shame when going 20mph there is slight wobble or it could be just my nerves when seeing the dial and surprised. Will test it out more at Norman park as it will be safer. Good thing is that both folding bike and the bike for my boy will fit in the Jazz so we can have some fun there. Once again thanks 🙏

      Thank you for watching my video and I do have both BK11 and BK6. They are identical except the easy access or easy to get on frame design. Personally I like the BK11 more as the frame is more rigid and going off road feels a lot more robust. The BK6 have a bend in the frame to allow easier leg over and get on the seat. I do ride a lot standing up and nothing having the center frame feels off. I am selling my BK6 for that reason and keeping the BK11

      I never recommend doing stuff which I myself not known or comfortable doing. If you want to mess with your expensive bike then search for “buybestgear step by step tutorial to unlock e-bike speed limit” there is a write up on how to change settings. It does not say hitway bike but it is the same controller. Do it at your own risk and please stop asking me about this topic as I am not an expert in this. I rather have a road legal Uk bike 👍

      @mn2k2shox that would confuse me and other viewers as there is no time/clock function on display. The P menu was not meant for bike user but a service menu. One wrong move can stop the motor from working as it can change battery and motor voltage etc.

    They both look great. One question. Does the BK6 or 11 fold up smaller than the other one, or are they both the same size when folded. And are they roughly the same weight or is there a difference. Thank you

    • @BCreviews
      @BCreviews  Před 4 měsíci

      I find the BK11 slightly smaller and lighter but very similar to each other. Both are designed with strong frame and bigger wheels than the usual folding bike, foldable and can pack in the trunk of a car yes but not really portable as such.

I am looking to get two folding bikes for me and my girlfriend that will fit in the back of the car together, so smaller is better. Last summer we went to Quebec City and realized it would have been great to have the E-bikes with us but our larger bikes would have had to go on a carrier on back and it poured rain on the way there. Thought folding bikes in the car would have been ideal. Thanks for the information.

      Hitway.eu sell both bike and battery. A lot of deliveries biker use modified e-bike to get the power and speed they need to do jobs quick but those are illegal in the uk and police have been clamping down and removing a lot of those. Hitway bike is legal but may not have the power and range you need.

    • @Georgian.A-Music

      But it can do the job? I’ve seen some delivery people using hitway but I haven’t asked their opinion yet

    • @BCreviews
      @BCreviews  Před 7 měsíci +1

      @Georgian.A-Music I think it will be a power assisted bicycle and not a moped. Will it work depends on your need, if you already deliver on a push bike then this will save you a lot of effort but if you don’t want to ride at all then this will not be enough and you will need to get a more powerful/illegal e-bike?

      @BCreviews  Před 9 měsíci

      Not sure as I did not have a chance to play with the BK5. My guess is that if riding on smooth road only then the BK5 is good. It has slim tyres and smaller in diameter which would be rough if there are pot holes and rough grounds. Riding it with electric means gear is not really needed but if really steep hill you will have no gear to help you with.

    • @BCreviews
      @BCreviews  Před měsícem +1

      You are right, I skipped doing that video as during filming my camera broke and lost some footage. Then other project took over and it was never made. I sold the BK6 and kept the BK11 at the end. The only real difference is the main body, I like the BK11 as I like the frame between my legs and it felt a lot stronger as a bike going off road. I don't need to easy step on as I am tall so it does not benefit me at all. There are update this year with our law in UK where 500w motor and throttle could be allowed later in the year. I suggest if not needed immediately then wait a few months and there will be lots of 250W second hand bikes or overall cheaper old gen bikes. If not in the UK then there are more power available ?

      @rallan1953 Před měsícem

      I did intend to go a fair distance. The range is a pretty big deal to me, but towpaths have a lot of uneven terrain so the sturdiness is something I'll have to think about. I'll sleep on it. Thanks for the guidance. 👍

    The problem is water and in the UK we get a lot of it so how does the bike electrics deal with the water on the bike? My battery died not because of water, but because of a hardware fault. Getting the shop to honour the warranty is a nightmare. The bike is covered and i only had it since march and used it once a month for long distances. My bike is a NCM Venice and it has the same 250 watt motor on it and that powers the bike up hills very well and i live in the north of England. Fold up pedals is great mechanic as it helps when pushing the bike along while walking, it stops you hitting the pedals etc. For these bikes i would water proof not just the battery but also the display app as well. Use clear tape also get the bike insured, not only will you get your money back but it give you peace of mind if it breaks and the shop you got the bike from will not honours its warranty commitments. Also E bikes are a thief magnet, so insurance is a must. Also get a gold standard lock. The speed and when hub motor kicks in is a bitt mislead. The bikes is heavy, so what happens is when you speed up the bike momentum also increases. You may not notice the hub disengaging at high speed due to M factor. It happens on my bike I can get to 18 mph with level 3 + and it due to weight and what gear i am in as well. Also going down hills even with a slight ingrain can increase the speed of the bike. Also add your weight to the momentum/speed.

      Thanks for sharing, very comprehensive view on long term use of the bike. Never thought of folding up the pedal when pushing! Now o feel so stupid with the pedal hitting my shin so many times. Out of interest what is your weight and what range are you getting?

      90Kg but i never tested the range. My battery died on me and i am trying to get a replacement form the seller but they are being difficult. I had the bike since March and used it once a month for long distances. I would seriously get it insured.

      How can we get this insured in uk?

    • @BCreviews
      @BCreviews  Před měsícem

      @aurangzaibsaeed4652 not sure if you mean insurance like car insurance or insurance against the product. Either way way I don’t know, the whole point of having a 250w small motor and limited to 15mph is to complied with Uk law at the moment and no need to insurance.

    Not much different to the bk6

      The frame is more rigid, I prefer this to the BK6. I don’t really need the easy step on design so I like this one a bit more. Both good so I am keeping both 👍
