WD40, if you're reading these - product placement for all my favorite farm channels is working. I'm genuinely using the contact cleaner in my electronics shop and it works quite well. Thanks for helping out these channels!!
That was a great, practical demonstration of how WD-40 products can work to a customer's benefit. I think you should find some other useful demonstrations utilizing their products. The proof is in the pudding, and you just served up an easy to understand scoop. Thanks Ryan.
I remember the first time I sprayed the tracks on my shed door , next day I came out to open things up and gave it the usual massive pull it took to open the door and sent it flying down the track and nearly shot it off the end . LOL
Thanks for the video and information Ryan 👍
Another excellent video Ryan. It's always a pleasure when you address us directly by looking at the camera. You are improving greatly since in your early videos you rarely if ever looked at the camera! Your JCB may just be the most beneficial, multi purpose vehicle on the farm. Let's ask JCB what else they can bring down for you to evaluate!!! Lovely video Ryan. Great Job Again.
Very good video Ryan love it .
Looking forward to the fence video. Nice to see a good handling system
Hope you went to harbor freight and bought one of those rolling magnets to pick up all the nails. Could reek havoc. Great vid!!!
crazy to see that old barn come down
I like seeing things being improved, that gravel looks a lot cleaner. Use those tracks to pack it down.
I was just thinking he needs a pull-type roller to compact and smooth the gravel. Then he can use the roller next spring to roll soybeans after they're planted to get better contact with the soil and flatten the rows. That makes for easier harvesting because you can set the header lower and get those low-growing bean pods. And who doesn't like increased yields?
Its nice seeing the JCB go back to work again, but its even nicer seeing you get to work on the lower drive lane and that ledge for the old fence line. I know you guys have been wanting to fix that up for a while so I can only imagine how nice that must feel to finally get it done. At least you won't have to worry about sliding down the hill in the frozen mud as much anymore! Great video as always! Love the cinematic shots you get!
I cant believe I live 5 minuets away from JCB World Headquarters in the uk and I am only just learning about the JCB Teleskid lol.
Looks a great machine and looks like the old JBC Telehandler from years back, no doubt someone will steel the idea like most British innovations!
I use to do small engine repair for many years I would buy that stuff in the gallon cans , great stuff thanks .
Glad you have a sponsor for this one.😀👍
Ryan, you need to build you an old fashioned drag out of railroad ties to smooth out your gravel. When I was growing up we used one to smooth out our gravel road and driveway.
Chain link fence works very well, as it does for breaking up dirt clods for seeding new lawn, pond bank, etc. When finished roll up & toss in corner of shed for next time. Failed to mention, using cement blocks for ballast, if needed.
After watching your channel for over a year and now I really want to be a grain farmer thank you 😀
Great video Ryan you did a good job spreading out all the gravel you can definitely use more in some areas that guy got out with out trouble when he was kinda stuck
Nice seeing that British equipment still going strong. Stay safe 🏴 👌
Nice gravel truck. Wow. Nice job
That looks good😉👍 the jcb is a great machine👍😁
Thanks for advertizing "Wyffels Hybrids Seed Corn" . @:20 👍
I'm no pro but seems to me like u did a good job spreading everything out good luck on the future build with this lot
Dang, that looked like a pinball on speed the way you had that going. LOL. Good job!
I'm gonna get a can of that stuff. Soon!
Fantastico Ryan, good job, that is a nice truck:):)
That gravel company has really clean trucks!
I recommend steel continuous fence. I think Larrys welding in Lancaster sells it.
Nice gravel. You have a pretty good eye. You just never can get enough gravel on the farm. Thanks.
Always interesting watching other channels to see all the different color of stone from different parts of the country. Around here ours is a more grayish blue limestone!
good effort, farming is a tough gig,
I'm sure you probably already have a plan for posts but I would very strongly recommend using railroad ties for the main post. They are absolutely the best and toughest post you can use and they last for at least a couple decades if not longer. Just a little thought
Good stuff
And this, boys and girls is why we play in sand boxes as children. Nice earth work Ryan.👏👏👏
I use a lot of WD40, I really like the specialist Dry lube it worked great on my baler.
Epic ☺️
WD-40 probably the best thing I like seeing farming promotion because it’s really the best stuff to use
Scrape away the dirt build-up from the lower edge of the door. Good job placing gravel in the low area!
The one thing I don't like about those cans of WD40, is there is no 'disable' on the spray top. So, if you put it in your toolbox/vehicle/etc, there is nothing stopping the release button being pressed and it emptying it's contents all over you stuff. The spray and straw option cap is great, but it NEEDS a disable switch, that stops accidental releases.
It way to much fun for you
Did u consider using wood post or another type of post with attaching guardrail material, kind of like at Hennessy implement.
Tidy dumper departure. 👍👍👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
Looks like a pretty new dump truck. You would think they stopped making new dump trucks if you based it upon the ones that are driving around here. Lol! We use washout as a good base for field roads. It is cheap and packs really hard.
Ryan if you have 2 old tractor tires bolt them together and make a drag out of them and keep the ruts out of your yard.
Could always put up them continues panels
Those are the same hinges i have on 3 of my buildings. Best thing i did was power wash up in there then you lube.
We need more cattle videos
Hey Ryan!! Need to get a laser level and check that. Looks like you're off a little bit lol.
Thumbs up and shared
Can’t believe that old barn is gone.
Rocket cameo!!!
Wow, that JCB is so versatile. If it had a coffee maker, it'd be perfect!
Believe it or not a coffee maker is a factory option in the cab of a jcb 3cx backhoe!
You did a great job. Looks good.

Nothing like some driftless limestone the hardest in the tri state region
Ryan Whar are you gpoing to use for a roof on the old stable
WOW WD-40!
You could/should run the JCB back and forth packing in the gravel. Less wash out and less chance of soft spots to get stuck in. If you had a roller, it would work also.
Having to much fun.You could put up rails like on the highway like crossing creeks and rivers just a thought
What's the history of that farm/ barn. Did your grandpa buy that farm?
Yup, need to grease our doors to the barn now.
Question: If your JCB Teleski got stolen, damaged, etc., would you buy another one, or go with a different brand?
Maybe I'm just used to our white limestone gravel in southwest Indiana, but why's your rock so brown?
I see your skid steer skills are as good as your farming skills!
Are you going to build another barn over the previous one?
That barn is a year older than me. I think I'll try some of that WD40 on a few of my joints that need some TLC ☺️
Plan is the game now.plan right and you only need to build it once and be great for yome yo come
That was pretty effective advertising. I was it peripheraly aware of the other WD40 products and I'm pretty likely to start using the grease.
Now you just need a nice propane company to sponsor you with free propane.
We use all Deere grease and spray cans
Hey what can you say about wd40 it Works
👍
One of these years you and Travis should consider a used class-4 or class-5 bulldozer for regrading and clearing trees and bushes. The low-boy trailer to move it from farm to farm can double for hauling hay and fodder bales. It's inevitable tha as you pick-up more land, you'll be farther afield and road-traveling.
ATTA boy just screaming her putting the hoist up.
WD-40 is my superhero, that's why it's so recognize able, red and blue, just like superman.
Is Rocket feeling better?
Just a note here for you ryan next time you do that be sure to track it in really good so it dont wash
Hi Ryan, your videos are great! Don’t forget that pad is Concrete - NOT Cement!! Good job grading!
Guess I just watched too much Beverly Hillbillies growing up!

@@HowFarmsWork Ya, Someday I'm just going to have a long talk with that boy!
Ryan is having to much fun
@@HowFarmsWork Even easier in a Deere

9:31 That is weird colored gravel. A nice orange color. Gravel in Alaska is gray.
Actually nuclear missiles-- though Atlas was used for a space launch rocket (including the Mercury orbital manned spacecraft) came later. WD-40 or "water displacer #40" was developed to help clean connections and prevent corrosion on Atlas missiles, which was the United States' first intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). They were a "balloon tank" missile developed by Karel Bossart, which used a thin stainless steel shell rolled from thin stainless steel sheets and welded together to construct the missile's propellant tanks, which instead of using heavy stiffener rings, operated identically to how a car tire works-- internal pressure keeps the structure rigid, like a blown-up balloon, which can then support the weight of hundreds of tons of propellant and the weight and acceleration forces of a several thousand pound nuclear warhead and reentry vehicle atop the rocket, the same way the pressure of compressed air in a tire can support thousands of pounds of weight of the vehicle and cargo.
Had skip the 4:52 second WD-40 commercial... FFS I like WD-40 but seriously, nearly 5 minutes of shilling for it?? LOL:) Later! OL J R:)
Yikes, loose nails everywhere.
When nails were handmade and valuable, farmers would burn down an old barn just to salvage the nails for future use in a new barn.
@@FoolOfATuque I’m thinking more about the feet of all the cows that will be roaming in there and eating off that ground
You should put that gravel everywhere on your farm
What? Dontcha have matches over there?
You need to spray a case of that stuff on your hopper trailer gates. Good job spreading nails all across your farm.
Do they make a electrical cleaner.??
The Farming Life they do make a contact cleaner. Zack was advertising it yesterday.
ryan not trying to tell you what to do but you should put barn back in there talk to the amish to build one they do it for people here in ohio
Whenever you work up dirt, cows and deer have to check it out. Have you ever tried using plastic snow fence to herd cattle? Of course the best way to herd cattle is with a good herding dog.
Funny thing was I was thinking what if the dump truck got stuck and it almost happened
Ha! Lil bit of a smoke show from the dump truck tires.
I hope the WD-40 company is sending you cases of their products. If they just sent you one bottle, rethink advertising for them. Your brand is worth so much more, like 20k+ a year worth.
A company the size of WD-40 isn't worried about the cost of a few cans. When they send out promo material, they usually send out at least a case of each product straight from the warehouse.
How much Ryan is getting in terms of financial compensation from WD-40 is probably private, but i highly doubt it's 20k. probably a few thousand at best. His videos average 100k views or less. That's not much for a company the size of WD-40.
Nails and cows feet aren't compatible last time i checked.
Dude. You got the job done well, but you made it so much harder by using the edge of the bucket like that. That 3TS has a float mode (on the right joystick) when the boom is all the way down. Just fill the bucket with gravel for weight then push-pull your way across with Float On and you're done in half the time.
Well at least the dump truck made it out.
Proper advertisement
Now no one drive on it!!!!! lol
I forgot you tore down your barn
That last load looked a little light
I have old Dodge's like women collect shoes they were not used in winter just old vehicles from 1941 to 1996 every fall under the hoods one large can of wd40 was sprayed everyone always said how good they looked under the hood 2003 that changed bought a case at Sam's club had the new flip out straw in the spring every engine compartment including where the over spray hit was rusted after spraying them the previous fall unfortunately I forgot I had started wiping stored weapons also until I took a single shot shotgun out of a storage sock for one of the grandson's to use and it was covered in rust .I thought it was a bad batch but with some online research (wd40 is good at removing rust comments from search engines ) I'm not the only one that has had problems with wd40 causing rust
I have gone away from wood to used highway guardrail. I use 2-7/8" oil field tubing for posts, just drive them 5' deep. I have rebuilt my corrals three times in my life. And I thought the first time would outlive me. Love new gravel. I had some soggy spots that I under filled with crushed concrete then put 3/4- over the top. That worked well. Good luck on your corral rebuild.
