  • How to use the Kahubaby Carrier to carry an older baby.
This video demonstrates using the Kahubaby Carrier to carry an older baby on the widest setting. The demo doll I am using for this video is c. 9 month old size.
The carrier used to demo with is the Kahubaby Carrier in Jo Jo Designs Flocking Birds print
Kahubaby carriers are available to purchase via my website (see below)

Hi! Yes, am happy to ship all over the world, unless a brand has specifically said we can only sell in the UK. Not all my prints are listed on my website, but if you email me on info@southeastslings.co.uk I can give you a full list of what’s in stock

I have the bottom strap of my kahubaby toddler carrier as loose as it can be but its not wide enough to reach baby's knee pits... Any tips? My son's 18months and weights 12kg - so he's working the carriers limits

Hi! Make sure you've got them held with bottom lower than knees. This will ensure the carrier fits wider (as it's effectively in a 'V' shape). The straighter their legs are, the narrower the width will be (as it was then be a straight line across). Make sure you hold them so their bottom is lower than waistband, knees tucked up in the 'M' position. Then the carrier should fit nicely across under their bottom.
I find the standard size Kahubaby fits nicely until around 2-2.5 years. The toddler is wider and taller so you're likely to need quite a bit of the panel tucked between you and your son, to ensure the panel doesn't go to high.
      Hope that helps!
