He wasn't going to try and shoot him. Hanzo's bow did absolutely nothing against Genji - he knows this. Raising his bow is simply a display of anger at the notion of forgiving himself.

Well I believe Hanzo and Genji were born into this Yakuza type of clan. Genji was more of a playboy and wanted to live his life his own way but Hanzo was more interested with the criminal dealings his family had been doing. Basically he felt pressured to do something about his brother, so they went at it and didn't end well for our boy Genji. He barely survived but with some help from a certain "someone" he pulled through, albeit more machine now. Listen I get real nerdy with these Overwatch shorts lol

@@kctv524 Well let's get nerdy with it then. Overwatch had been keeping tabs on the Shamada clan for a while so when they saw Genji was left for dead, or so Hanzo thought, they brought him back to their headquarters and with Mercy's help kept him alive. His body was mostly done for so they rebuilt him into the cyborg you see. Then with Genji's inside knowledge of the Shamada clan, Overwatch took down the criminal empire. Although by this time Hanzo was long gone. Feeling like a complete ass for what he did, or thought he did, he left the clan and wandered the earth seeking some sort of redemption. Genji would also go into this self loathing phase till he meets another certain someone that helps him accept who he is.

Yeah, I like to think of Genji as Robocop ninja.
Usually reaction videos are supposed to have reactions in them.
Whether or not he was going to shoot at the end, I'd say it makes perfect sense for Hanzo's character. A willingness to do the same thing that's tortured you for years, in the line of what he believes his duty to be. Duty before personal interests.
