- LAY-Z-SPA How to empty water in LAY-Z-SPA, clean the LAY-Z-SPA, deflate LAY-Z-SPA and pack away LAY-Z-SPA for the Winter.
This is a video on the LAY-Z-SPA Bahamas model but should be the same for other similar Bestway Hot Tub models.
I'll show you how to empty a LAY-Z-SPA of water, then how to clean the LAY-Z-SPA & then how to deflate a LAY-Z-SPA Hot Tub super quick using the LAY-Z-SPA deflater attachment and hose. I'll show you where to attach it and how to deflate the LAY-Z-SPA quickly. Then it's ready to pack away the LAY-Z-SPA for the Winter. Don't pack it away dirty or damp as it will get mouldy when you store it!

2:17 Remove plug from drainage area & use the Stone!
2:50 LAY-Z-SPA is draining at full rate.

3:32 Cleaning stuff you need.
4:17 Cleaning the LAY-Z-SPA.
6:37 Lift it up to get last bits of water out.
6:58 Clean out grit.
7:43 Rinse with fresh water.
8:19 Car sponge to soak up remaining water.
8:45 Plug in again & turn on the Bubbles (yes really).
8:50 Car sponge to soak up remaining water.
9:26 Clean towels to dry it out, water spraying.
11:02 The LAY-Z-SPA drying dance.
11:40 It's clean and dry ready to deflate!
11:50 Time for lunch!
11:58 Disconnect the Unit from inflatable tub.
12:51 Move LAY-Z-SPA onto a dry sheet.
13:04 Daisy wondering what's going on!
13:17 Move Unit near the Hot Tub.
13:21 Items supplied that you need.
13:34 Connect deflation device & hose.
14:17 Undo deflation cap, attach deflation nozzle.
14:53 Push hose into Hot Tub valve.
15:05 Start deflating the LAY-Z-SPA.
16:28 Use a towel to dry any dampness.
16:33 Flip it over, clean & dry underside.
17:14 Turn it back and carry on drying.
17:25 Deflated, disconnect hose, put cap on.
17:50 End Caps, use them or not?
18:06 Dry and deflate the Cover.
18:20 Disconnect deflation hose & device.
18:40 Turn off and unplug unit.
19:12 Dry the cable & the unit.
19:32 It's all indoors for a week drying out.
20:00 Clean & dry Filter housing\ChemConnect.
20:42 Time for another cup of tea!

Yes it is a lot of effort and when my wife gets in it she doesn’t like the bubbles! That’s the whole point, I love the bubbles

Greetings from Canada and thanks for all your Lazy Spa videos. Really enjoyed using the spa as a first time owner. I've followed the steps in this video but as soon as I start to deflate it I get the E02 error and both the filter and heater light come on. I can shut both off but after 20 seconds I get the error again. Any suggestions.? Thanks in advance.
That is very odd because E02 is a blocked filter but the filter isn’t on, you haven’t put the cap on the filter part when you deflate?
Thanks for your respoonse. No caps on at all. I've been careful the whole time with filters, changing themevery 3 days as I saw online about this dreaded E02 error. It was completely unexpected to get the error this afternoon. Maybe I'll call the UK customer service (I'm an Ex Pat from Wiltshire) on Thursday as there seems to be no support in Canada even though the are sold all over.
@@kevinmayo4119 Of all my videos you are the first that I’ve heard getting an E02 on deflation. Very odd. And you have definitely got the special attachment on the unit end? Hope you can get it sorted. Good luck
Success!!! I didn't touch the unit again yesterday and then today I managed to get some air back into the Lazy Spa this morning as I had deflated it slightly yesterday. I then started the sequence all over again beginning with blowing air through the bubble jets as though to dry things out. That worked so I left the pump unit for 10 minutes and then tried the deflating process and this time no problem at all!! The only trouble I did have was waiting for the temperature to warm up as apparently the unit won't work at 4C or below. E03 error. Its now 9C. @@LurgsHowToGuides
Good video but I wouldn’t be putting the spa water on the garden. Plants don’t particularly like chlorine!
Nor do humans but we sit in it for hours!
I keep getting the e02 beep when taken out the air?
How odd it should not do that. Have you definitely go the adaptor on and also no covers on any of the holes?

@@carolineflynn4848 Someone else had same issue and commented but never got back to me if they cured it. It shouldn’t do that. Best contact Bestway and ask them. Good luck
