we have a handful of goats that have all the signs of being copper deficient so we gave them all a bollus a couple months ago and we haven't seen much of a difference so my question is how often can i give them a copper bollus

It depends. How much did you give them? How many grams each? And what do they weigh? What symptoms are you seeing?

@@DeborahNiemann Thank you so much for replying- So we gave them all 4 grams and on average they weigh around 100 lbs. We do have some smaller ones that are about 50 lbs. We treated the whole herd, for the first time after watching your videos and realizing that they are showing the signs of being copper deficient. There are a handful of the goats that look way worse and we are seeing hair loss on nose, their coats are discolored, some of them are getting non-stop worms and they have fish tail. We have had a couple goats over the past month that died even though we did everything in the book that they tell you to do, but after researching and watching your videos on copper deviancy I fully believe that is what is affecting a lot them. I was just wondering though if they don't improve when we should give the next bolus on goats showing symptoms because not all them have the signs so I don't want to over dose them, but I was just wondering more for the ones that are still showing the fish tail, hair loss on nose and discolored coats, etc

@@user-yd8xb3dl4x I would suggest signing up for my free copper course because it can be complex. I'm not sure which videos you've seen on here, but this is nowhere near as complete as what's in the course. Plus you can post photos of your goats in the course so that I can see exactly what you are talking about. Most of these symptoms can be caused by something else, but it takes some effort to figure out if they are all copper related. And sometimes, people misinterpret concepts like fish tail and faded coat. After two months, you should be seeing some improvements like hair growing back on the nose if THAT symptom was caused by copper deficiency, but I would need to see photos before I could say for sure. thriftyhomesteader.teachable.com/p/copper-deficiency
