Constitutional changes are required that once a people's representative is jailes for more than 48 hrs, he /she should resign from that post or removed by the Governor. I would suggest that rule which exists for Working class of losing their job if jailed for any offence (even when he is on trial) should be implemented for thr political person.

Can Ranganathan explain how all opposition leaders are kept in jail indefinitely and without so much as a charge sheet. Our judicial system is a bit strange. It says Bail is the rule, but dies not applyto opposition leaders. They can be indefinitely held. If there is really a primary facie evidence as judges would have us believe, then why delay the beginning of the trial. Let the trial begin and guilty convicted. It can not take years.
The delay is to ensure that no judgement is given until the election results are out.
