Well done mate, without people like you we wouldn't have a clue........ thanks for taking time out to show us
didnt have much of a clue myself till i done some research and testing on it now i --- we have the video too look at and save time :)
Thanks for your help
I used a multi tool to cut through both at the same time
Blue bulbs 😂
Have just spent 2 1/2 hours installing a kenwood double din radio into a Bipper van... figured it out but have just found this video!!! At least it confirms what we did was the same! We used a kitchen knife to cut through the plastic and what a pain it was!
Ye that's Why I made the video because even tho guessing is ok it's daunting seeing such a lot too cut .. glad you sorted it really does feel like so big a hole when doing it too lol
Soooperspeed it’s huge! Do you have an adaptor plugged in for the steering wheel controls? I’ve forgotten to put one in and there seems to be an issue with the power to the unit which have sorted temporarily
@@saintsforever no I don't.. I didn't fit one as I am running after market steering wheel anyway .. as for the power I ran the live from the ignition wiring too the plug on the rear using an adaptor loom intended for the Peugeot partner van as they have the same wiring problem and the adaptor is cheap .. and ignored the steering control plug altogether.
Super Video. Habe bei mir 10 Minuten gebraucht und fertig. Ganz easy.
Thank u so much. I want to put in a double din android car screen in my qubo and u explained like everything how to prepare the dashboard! :) 🎉
Thanks a lot !! Just did it on my 2008 Nemo Well done !!
Thanks for the video, really helpful mate
No problem thank you for the kind comment
Thanks very much for this video! I used a Dremmel and ripped it out in no time, before installing the stereo using the Connects2 CT23CT06 kit. Looks brilliant!
thanks glad you found it informative , needed something so thought its not there i will do it . didnt use a power tool myself wanted too keep it basic and easy for all people dremel is good if you have one tho for sure .
Thanks for such a helpful and comprehensive video. I am feeling brave so I think I will have a go on my Fiorino! You have a lovely accent too.
My accent is so Welsh :) ... I tried too get every bit in the video ncluding the cuts and what was removed etc ... I'm glad it helped you... thank you for the nice comment ..
Excellent video fantastic stage by stage 👏
Brilliant video just what I needed And eBay link Once I find out what's causing a 7.5 amp drain I will get a touch player Thanks
Great thanks for the video, looking forward to upgrading my stereo to a double din with sat nav and a reserve camera
Hi, how did you get on with fitting the aftermarket stereo? Did you use a connect2 steering wheel harness so you could still use the controls on the wheel?
@@lukehirst5426 hi look my van didn't actually have buttons on the steering wheel, so I just opted for an android radio unit . Just controlled by touch .
@@Michael33342 ahh ok. I'm currently having a mare trying to fit a alpine head unit in the van. (Just wanted something with DAB but to still be able to use the controls on the wheel. They describe it as 'plug and play' but I'm either missing something obvious or just dumb. I'm having no luck trying to find out where the other original connector goes as there is no mention of it in the instructions. 🤔
Buen trabajo😁
great !!! thank you so much
Nice one
thanks glad you found it useful
Looks lovely be easier with a dremel
the reason i used the knife was just the tool i had too hand yes dremel would have been easier for sure didnt think about it till it was too late :) .
that bit is easy...i have spent hours and hours trying to connect an aftermarket cd player to the factory leads...nothing works ?
hi did you get the after market wiring adaptor .. if you did then you still need too run the 12v switched cable thro too a switched source as in your ciggy lighter socket or the ignition switched live or anything really that is controlled with the key being turned too position 1 or 2 before you start the van ..if your looking for a place in the centre of the console to the left of the drivers seat ( uk side ) there is a ciggy power point there .. buzz out the positive with a multi meter and splice into that cable ... there is actually 2 loom connectors there so you could use the spare that's usually taken up by the BT Bluetooth usb play socket that's rare fitted ...hope this helps you ..
Can i do this mod and retain the pop up clipboard on my bipper? If anyone knows thanks
does the clipboard just slot in on the top and get held by the clips on the side if so then i would guess yes .. altho i have not had a clipboard so i cannot be certain .. im sure with some modding and some alterations tho it would be possible
Hi do you have a link for the double din please
sure it is in the video description above the comments or below the video .. here is the link for the one i used here if you cannot access the video description :) hope this helps www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CT24CT11-Citroen-Nemo-2008-on-Car-Stereo-Fitting-Facia/253140138091?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Thanks for the video! Will you do the same to my van please?
Hi .. I'm sorry but I only really work on my own van .. kids , life , gets the rest of my time :) I'm sure you could follow the video it's really easy and I have faith you can get this done and will look great :) thank you for the comment.
