When I hear songs like this, I want to congratulate the songwriters on the insanely rhyming lyrics. I don't think I could do that kind of thing with a song, at least not on my own.
"Where on the brink of an an adventure children don't spoil it with too many questions" -Mary poppins 2018 That's gonna be an famous quote one day I bet :3
One thing about this scene is that the hall appears and it's made out of the magical umbrella that Mary Poppins spins. This means, of course that, without her saying this, she's the real owner of the hall itself. Notice that the wolf, and his two henchmen are there charging folks to enter when Mary is the owner so why is she allowing them to take money when she's the owner? It will only be later that when Georgie follows the shadow of the pocket watch with the stuffed giraffe that his mother made for him by hand that he will be the first to notice that the wolf and Mr. Weatherall Wilkes are one and the same. Just like his father Michael caused the same kind of mayhem at the Dawes Bank when he was the same age, it will be Georgie who first recognizes the man running the bank as the conman and liar that he is....
True, but remember it’s preceded by Can you imagine that and followed by a cover is not the book. I think our songwriters knew they had it and didn’t want to overload the audience with too many treats lol.
On Tuesday I'm using this song for my acting class and I'm singing acapella it's almost like a mini audition for my class anyways I have to sing Emily's and Lin's part it's harder than people think so wish me luck I will update after I audition!!!
They captured the essence of the Chalk drawing segment of the first movie and turned into it's own whimsical adventure. The first really feels like a stroll down the park on a sunday morning while this one is, well, like going to the music hall and amusement park. Also a china painting is a brilliant setting on it's own, especialy how even the costume design had the colours like painting and watercolour. And having all the characters as anthropomorphic animals managed to distance it more from the chalk drawing to be UNIQUE, and thats important.
2:25 Those counterparts of Wolf, Badger and Weasel must not interfere people's journey. Not to mention family possessions from the kids' bedroom and his giraffe plush.
If the second half of this song was as good as the first, it would be amazing. But it fizzles out with the kids taking over the lyrics, instead of a big show stopping finale with a sudden and brilliant orchestral finish. Shame.
Emily Blunt and Lin Manuel Miranda are a duo I never knew i needed until this movie's release

The problem with this song is that it’s too short. Essentially a minute and a half :(
Thats right

Thank you!
Thanks
It’s actually “highly acclaimable” not unclaimable and “always roof-raisable” not “always rephrasable”
Hi Mrs wright
Thank you for posting the lyrics, do you have them all to the movie?
David Persuitte The rest of the songs will have lyric videos relatively soon! I just haven’t had a chance to make them because of the holidays
