I've got 3-4 hundred K miles (not sure; I can document at least 300K and have many undocumented), and one thing I've never enjoyed is distractions while riding... Although I use GPS on car and boat, I've never had it on a bike and used to ride 1000-1200 miles per 24hr, when out... one of the most enjoyable bikes I had (Norton 750), had a non-op tach and a semi-accurate speedo -- I think it may have had an ammeter now that I think about it -- no turn-signals, no fenders front or rear -- beer-can baffles (you get the idea -- sparse) and that bike took me from Washington state to Florida... all over the mid-US and down into Texas several times, snows of the Dakotas... even though I ride somewhat more modern bikes now (am past my mid-70s -- now have ZG1400 and a Softail), I find I ignore most of the digital techno-gadgetry 99% of the time and just listen to the bike, watch the road and I've been quite content with that for years... but good friends ride the same roads and are wired (blue-toothed) for sound, so what do I know

Thanks for sharing, that’s a really great amount of miles. Cool points.
While I’m always remembering the old style like my older bikes I do love my media. I’ve been happy with minimal data and more. I think I need to make N update on this video. Showing how older bikes and some current models have minor input or output and others have more than most will ever use. Again thank you and have a great day.

My bike has a speedo, odometer, and idiot lights for oil and water. Dont really need nor want more than that. My phone does GPS on a ram mount I guess
