I tried something like this because you inspired me! I haven't played 3 metalcruncher and no gearframe in so long. The new level 10 xyz is insane. I'm running a 40 card variant with lots of 3s cut to 2s. Hand traps and Crossout haven't been helping much lately, took up too much space. I def recommend Road Roller, it can top off some of those basic Dora & Regulus boards. Sick tech as always, good luck at YCS too!!
