I am glad took time to look at your video it was good! We are trying to show our own people about ATVing that it is great. We are running into a lot bad attitudes here where we live. It real struggles to build...
I designed this to paper, my friend welded this and made some modifications to make it better and easier to use. It could have been done from lighter material because this is pretty heavy. No problems to pull with ATV but heavy to move around when storing during summer time.
Hi, it looks really great. Do you have more photos with details or plans/schema? I do plan to work on similar skiing track this year and your skiing track seems as the right choice. Thanks. Filip
Thanks! I designed this myself and my friend welded it. All the materials & welding & painting costed about 1500 €. I don't sell these... just for own fun.
It's made from 2 cm thick PE (polyethylene) plastic. I made the grooves with milling machine :-) Took few hours and lots of plastic chips. I have been using this only on lake so don't have experience from hills.
Nice video and piece of equipment you built. Do you know there is a grooming forum at (search with Kozs snowg rooming talk) We'd love to have you there with us. That's assuming you're not on it already.
That's not an issue. Please be so kind and share somewhere more photos, especialy with details. I'm, lets say, a beginer, so I a little affraid, if I'll able to do it :-) Thank you.
ATV was not good in pulling groomer if some water on ice. Tracks are really slippery without studs when bare ice & water underneath. Lynx Commander 900 ACE snowmobile was more suitable for that job.
ok this is heavy. i have a Skandic WT 550F and I want make me a similar 5fts wide and 8fts long for my horses trail , maybe that aluminum will be lighter.
I have some kind of designs but there is not actual measurements because my friend this based on his experience and my ideas. I can mail the material what I have to you.

Beautiful and practical groomer. Ideal choice for a country like India. I was looking for a cheap groomer. This seems to be a very good choice.
Do you have snow in India ☃
Thanks for posting this, it was very helpful.
You should make more videos this is one of the best I have seen from 2011 hope to see more some day
Chystám se něco podobného vyrábět,tvůj stopař se mě zdá nejlepší ze všech co jsem měl možnost zatím vidět. :-)

What material did you use.
Nice work !
This should get a million like
very nice 2 questions where did you get the black mat that leaves the groves and how does it handle in the hills/ trails?
Works great

I think this is very interesting. Do you make and sell them? If so, what do one of this cost?

It makes traditional skiing track.
My estimation is 120 - 150 kg. Those blades are pretty heavy and body material is 4 mm thick. .
Dang that must burn fuel!

Those are Apache tracks and only for snow. No need to use during summer time.
How do you get the corduroy pattern in the snow, what did you use?
2 cm thick plastic sheet with grooves driven by a milling cutter
