Woah woah woah this is amazing. Where did you get the multitracks? The “multitracks” I’ve seen just have all the horns, pads, strings etc in one stem track, and the vocals in one stem track. How did you get ahold of the actual session?
Also love how up front Barry’s guitar track is. It’s completely buried in the original which is a shame. It’s such a phenomenal rhythm part.
Glad you enjoyed the remix. The "multitracks" you are referring too, are just the game rip stems. This full dry session is a bizarre one for the 70's, with over 100 tracks...so the studio obviously used multiple recorders with SMPTE to sync them. As far as where I got this session, pretty much the same thing as all of the sessions I get, well connected people to the studios.
@@groovefunkel Thank you for the response. It’s crazy a lot of these sessions still exist but just aren’t publicly available. Thank you for bringing to light these incredible tracks that only a few would be able to hear otherwise.
I’ve always wanted to hear all the tracks to their song “Too Much Heaven.” So much going in that song, no telling how much goodness is buried in it. Wish I knew someone in the industry to see if they could get their hands on it somehow.
@@triad5766 Trust me, if I had that song I would be all over a remix. Years ago, I had a source for "How Deep is Your Love" but it fell through. Be sure to check out my channel if you have not already...I have lots of great songs remixed from the full sessions.
