Poppy could be writing a true crime novel about the murder and she could be inserting herself into the investigation to get to the facts, which could make the murderer worried as she gets close to solving it before the police.

Agreed, and the vicar is pretty sure he knows what the secret is, and it really worries him that it could cause harm to his beloved daughter.

I see Poppy crafting jewellery to make some extra money for her uni fund. As for podcasts my new fav is Where there is a will there's a wake with Kathy Burke.
Maybe Fern from Cobblebottom Row could be teaching her how to do it :D
I was going to suggest this, at the very least I see her making her own jewellery.
OOOOH just had an idea. What if Poppy is the offspring of detective shaun miller and some random lady, she got pregnant after a one night stand with shaun (unbeknownst to shaun), and ended uo giving poppy up for adoption. Poppy has recently started to develop medium like abilities which scares her! Which also unbeknownst to her was passed down from rosemary.
Poppy is testing the waters of alternative spirituality. She is moving away from her Dads’ beliefs and getting involved in the Wiccan community of Henford-on-Bagley. Her Dads’ are not too happy about that but they respect her desire to find her own way in the world. She is quite friendly with Rosemary and has attended some of her seances.
My names Poppy and she looks a lil bit like me 🙈😂

I know a lesbian couple in my town. One is a pastor at the Unitarian church and they take in LGBTQIA foster kids. That could be a great storyline for this couple.
As always you knock it out the park with your builds and Sims 🎉 Maybe poppy is trying to find her birth parents (maybe its something to do with hadden hall) also dont know if you can but what about a ladder (the. One from high school years with the flowers on) on the back wall where poppy can climb up and over the wall so her dad's can't see her sneaking out
It would be cool if she was inspired by the murder mystery that's happened in henford for a story she is writing and keeps going to the haven hall where the murder happened to help her write her story with a fantasy twist on it of course, and because of that people think she's a suspect because she keeps trying to turn up and snoop

I think the dads gave Poppy a little kitten after her adoption, to make her feel less lonely. The cat, grey and long haired, is very old now, but still very close to Poppy. She always wants to be cuddled and sleeps in Poppy's room.
Personally I really don't like cats, so I don't know why this idea came to mind btw. 😂
About the podcast recommendations: I guess you don't understand Dutch... but if you do there's a lot of nice true crime podcasts. :)
I think one of the Goth Boys in town who may or may not be hanging around poppy should be a wiccan (maybe even a spellcaster to reflect the magical, mystical side) and they have really good conversations about religion, spirituality, and philosophy
I see Poppy as someone who loves candles. Maybe she can have the candle crafter thing.

Your Let's Build The Worlds has inspired me to build my own version of Henford-On-Bagley too!! I'm doing it in the styles of builds we have in the village I live in as a lot of farmers live here and so much of Cottage Living was about farming. This build has definitely convinced me to do my own vicarage and/or church and I adore your build so far ❤️ I always recommend your builds to my friends who also play sims

I love the MORBID podcast! It's a true crime podcast and the two girls are super candid and it's awesome! It's one girl telling her friend about the cases so you get real time reactions!

I would recommend a true crime podcast called The Evaporated - Gone With The Gods. It’s a 9 episode podcast narrated on the topic of people disappearing in Japan and the business behind it. It’s fascinating.

If you just can't with the roof and wallpaper (by the round window), I suggest splitting it into 4 parts 😊
With a room in the middle, a roof piece on each side and one on top.
The exterior will look pretty much the same, but you'll have an attic too (perhaps extra space for Poppy).
And most importantly, you can paint the walls just as you want 👀

I'm not sure if this happens in England, I'm just thinking of posts I've seen by Americans (and things I've read in fanfictions set in America...), but I would be interested to see Matthew and Robin as an emergency foster placement, or possibly short term foster parents.
From what I've seen, it involves lots of storage for things for kids of every possible age and tastes. Lots of clothes, toys, stickers, bedding, toiletries - stuff for the kids to choose from so they have something they own and have control over, and ways to express themselves. So maybe a single bed and collapsible crib, dressers and modular storage, toys of different kinds for kids, maybe a desk and comfy chair for teens...
I'd also love to see a wooden bench seat in the back garden, for cuddles and canoodling
Love this family. Maybe you can make some of their relatives in the Windenburg save file. Also I imagine Poppy used to love exploring the ancient ruins in Windenburg and misses it a lot.

I don't have the castle kit, but I think there's a wallpaper that is all dirty. Maybe use that on the bigger roofs and the gradient one on the second floor, just around Poppy's room?
I also love true crime, I used to watch Bailey Sarian, she is such a good storyteller and make up artist. I might even watch her now, it's been a while.
OMG. The murder mystery could intrigue her. One thing I know goths love is graveyards,ghost,and murder mysteries. Perhaps her friends could try a seance and or she writes down everything she learns about the murder,trying to figure it out. Or be inspired by the events and write a story based on it. And perhaps one of her goth friends is a witch/spiritual person who is really in tune but often to high on the devil's lettuce to be much help other than to give some cryptic stuff! Just ideas >0

I'm currently listening to is Lucy Worsley' Lady Killers, a true crime podcast that gives a very interesting insight into female killers of the Victorian era.

They don't make it anymore but I really enjoyed the sweet boys podcast! I think there's 23 episodes and I always had so much fun with it
I dont know if they're classed as Podcasts but I am hugely into horror and True Crimes. Mr. Davis, Scary Mysteries, Chilling Tales For Dark Nights. I also love English Heritage Mrs. Crocombes Victorian Cooking Videos, she's based at Audley End House. The Sims Lore is a great channel as well, so many backgrounds to characters throughout all Sims from The Sims to Sims 4.
I also live near a Vicarage. It's tiny, attached to a very old church and graveyard and it's a lovely pink!
These sims are beautiful. I've been listening to heart starts pounding podcast and Jack Osbornes ghost and grit. Oh and I've been listening to a podcast about conspiracies.
What about making a small balcony next to poppy's room/En suite to put the trellis ladder then you can find a door to fit the aesthetic?

Obitchuary is a great podcast! The hosts are best friends and they read funny obituaries and talk about topics relating to death and grief. One of the hosts also has another podcast called Cult Liter where he talks about cults and true crime
for podcasts i absolutely love bailey sarian she has two: murder mystery and makeup where if you watch the youtube videos she does her makeup while telling the story but on spotify or wherever else it’s just the story and then there’s dark history which is my fav it’s so good
I've been recently loving the podcast Too Many Tabs. The male host of it has a big TikTok following, but it's a husband and wife who take turns picking a subject every week. He usually talks about different historical figures, and she tells him about influencers and internet drama. She also does book club episodes where she talks about a book she recently read. Listeners pressured Alex the husband into doing his own book club episode on A Court of Thornes and Roses, and it was hilarious! Also, if the grungy roof piece not going all the way up is making your eye twitch, maybe try adding those scruffy wall marks you put in the landlord's apartment.

some potentially very random podcast recs from me are : d&d actual play podcasts (told you it'd be random) such as "not another d&d podcast". a fiction horror podcast called the magnus archives is amazing, and they have a ttrpg podcast as well. escape this podcast is an rpg escape room podcast which is super interesting. I also like lateral by tom scott for fun facts, and off menu (james acaster and ed gamble) is interesting and funny and talks about food which is always fun.

It's not *technically* a podcast, but I adore Eleanor Neale who does true crime videos on YT and has a "Freaky Friday" series where she looks at different topics that don't exactly fit under the True Crime umbrella, per se.
I listen to Mr.Ballen Podcast I absolutely recommend it.
