My second Coheed & Cambria song I ever heared - only knew "The Broken" before - what an amazing voice. Came to 97XVideos through Breaking Benjamin, great channel!
Holy whoa. I was really thinking that there is no way he good sound as good as the song. But wow, he's amazing! I love this song. And the acoustics are amazing. :)
I've been playing acoustic and electric guitar for 15 years. All I'm saying is that playing certain songs where there is intricate scales and riffs, takes a toll on your hands and fingers after a sustained period of acoustic playing.
there are a lot of songs we hear and just find it good but his music is actually something to feel and appreciate instead of hear and judge...that's a rare experience that is going to extinct, thanks to today's entertainment companies that want to lure kids who aren't even in puberty
if i was there i so would have lifted Claudio's mic for him, hell i wouldn't mind holding the mic for the whole performance. i mean damn 97X this is how you treat a musical god?
Some songs were meant to be played acousticly, this is one of them... Although I love the studio version, this has a really haunting but nice feel and timbre to it...
I got into Coheed & Cambria after hearing the RockBand commercial. I like this and the original of this song. Just my opinion. Isn't Claudio crazy looking in the originals music video. lol.
Wow! I was skeptical about how good this could possibly sound without distortion but I am impressed. People who play guitar realize how tough it is to play acoustic and pull that intro. Electric guitars play like an automatic and acoustics are like stick shifts without power steering. You can manage but it is a pain in the ass. Well done boys!
vocals spot on. It's such a shame he's lost so much of his vocal range. This is the most crisp I've heard him this song. CoCa = best band of all time and Claud is my fav vocalist of all time.
Yeah my girlfirend always tells me when my metaphors get a little out there, sorry. I have a 5.0 five speed and an automatic and I just remember thinking in those terms during a long drunken acoustic session. My fingers were thrashed and I remember thinking, fuck, this is work. Five speeds are great until you're on the interstate in bumper to bumper traffic and your left foot feels like it's going numb. Happy jamming, peace out!
the mic slowly started falling down and he was trying to knock it back up with his face, lol...if you look at it's position at the start of the video and then at the end you will see what i mean
@GodsentHellraiser All of the live versions of this song I've seen they go back and forth on the solo, it's one of my favorite parts about the solo in this song, but it does sound a little awkward in this one
Does it matter if they spelled wrong? Take it somewhere where people actually care about linguistic discussions. Let me enjoy this vid in peace. 5 stars for Coheed and Cambria
is there a certain way to use the type of vibrato claudio uses in the intro?...almost sort of like B.B. King's signature vibrato. i think it sounds so much more subtle and better than the way i do it, but i can't get it down
2021 still rocks! Damn time goes by fast.
This is so good but you must hear “The Wave Acoustic” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘🎧
I love when bands play acousticly, its such a more raw sound, its also harder to play as far as music goes
i saw them live and it was outstanding. he sounds exactly like the studio. i consider claudio one of the best vocalists ever.
Hell yeah. Claudio is on my short list with people like Stevie Wonder and Freddy Mercury.
The sound of new strings on those guitars.. ;~;
So bright and shiny! It's wonderfully sharp too..
His voice is astounding.
its all about the music an leave it at that coheed & cambria straight up legendary!!
They are so amazing with their guitars, and his voice sounds even better live. Coheed and Cambria are true legends.
cute voice for a big and long haired guy
lol??? i love this band and know what your saying i really do but damn it looks funny being said like that =D
This is so fucking good.
I love how the guitars are panned :D
i love Coheed and Cambria......this intro is very fun to play on guitar and quite easy but also still sounds awesome.
This song sooo hard you can tell much a great song
This is so good but you must hear “The Wave Acoustic” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘🎧
Gotta agree there Wingu84 ... I'm dyslexic and i could care less ... its all about the music, lets keep it that way
Pure talent
This is so good but you must hear “The Wave Acoustic” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘🎧
you would never think he could hit the high note causes he a nice sized guy, but damn he nails it
My second Coheed & Cambria song I ever heared - only knew "The Broken" before - what an amazing voice. Came to 97XVideos through Breaking Benjamin, great channel!

such a good song! and they are such amazing guitarists!
Holy whoa.
I was really thinking that there is no way he good sound as good as the song.
But wow, he's amazing!
I love this song.
And the acoustics are amazing. :)

His voice is what makes them unique. When I first heard them I thought he was a girl, but then I got used to it. They are amazing.
there are a lot of songs we hear and just find it good but his music is actually something to feel and appreciate instead of hear and judge...that's a rare experience that is going to extinct, thanks to today's entertainment companies that want to lure kids who aren't even in puberty
Those guys are burnin up those frets!!!
if i was there i so would have lifted Claudio's mic for him, hell i wouldn't mind holding the mic for the whole performance. i mean damn 97X this is how you treat a musical god?

His voice is even more incredible live, than recorded.

i forget the singer's name, but he's fantastic. when u look at him u would never expect him to have a voice like that
Claudio is amazing!!! But so is everybody else in the band! You gotta appreciate them too
yay for him.......
this is amazing
hahah I love the zoom in on the miller lite poster
masterpiece!!
The regular version is great....but this version has such an awesome tone to it:D
Seen them live twice! Would love to see an acoustic performance though.
He auto-tune's himself at 3:06. Unreal voice!
green room tunes are sick
wow... wasn't expecting his voice to be so high pitched. he sounds good and the song is great, but that was surprising lol
DUDE! ... i concur.
beautiful product placement
Some songs were meant to be played acousticly, this is one of them... Although I love the studio version, this has a really haunting but nice feel and timbre to it...
i know =] thats what i thought before i ever heard him...but its just beautiful =]

i totally agree

you just have to find the sweet spot on the string that claudio uses.
Sooo amazingg :)
and winner of the "your-voice-does-not-match-your-look-but-it-sounds-fucking-awesome" award goes to....
@multikoolio100 hell no they dont use auto tune, his voice is just that beast naturally
FUKING LOVE THIS
still not used to seeing the big guy and the higher vocals, awesome music though and he hit it spot on
4:01 hilarious, his mic starts falling over and he uses his face to try and hold it up haha
@EthMan09 I think he meant he fixed his mess up. Hence, "auto-tuning himself". He didn't say he used an Auto-Tuner.
Coheed
hell yeah!
2020 xD

EPIC just EPIC
WoW...
...wow...
I knew i spelled that shit wrong. EITHER way HILARIOUS.
Haha 1:08 Travis messes up and then looks up like "Fuck!!!!!!" I fuck that part up too buddy
Same, its a tricky part
he looks like a metal head that enjoys the finer things in life,
My nephew is Dyslexic. I just asked him how you spell writer. Surprise. He spelled it right.
I agree
the mic slowly started falling down and he was trying to knock it back up with his face, lol...if you look at it's position at the start of the video and then at the end you will see what i mean

@DelVanity

this is brilliant.
claudio sanchez is fucking magnificent
just went to thier concert at the greek. they opened for black sabbaths new band. he got pretty skinny
dam claudio can fucking sing his ass off!!
Everytime I hear that I piss myself laughing, it's so funny
not bad and props to the guys for going for the scale word on acoustic. a little sloppy but that took balls.

@sandersbrowntomlinso thank you
only claudio (lead singer) was the comic book righter but yes the songs are like chapters of the comics
