- Welcome to episode 1 of our digital chronicles -- the first few weeks of living in Earl, our self-converted ambulance turned 4wd camper. Highlights include Great Sand Dunes National Park, beautiful fall colors, our first mechanical issue (already?!), and of course lots of doggie cameos from Fern and Ivy. While this channel serves as a creative outlet for us and an electronic “scrapbook” of our adventures on the road, we also hope our meanderings inspire you in some way. The road towards your dreams is never straight and often bumpy, but I think we can all agree it’s always worth the journey.

Life on the road, to me, is 95% total boredom, 2.5% pain from climbing injuries, and 2.5 % absolute beauty.
Well, the "beauty" and "pain" are larger than life when you actually DO experience them, but as far as actual time-spent, the percentage pretty much still holds up.
so excited for you, can't wait to see more of your experiences in this adventure.
Thanks :) we are excited to have this chance to document it. The pro side of technology lol

Beautiful video! Looking forward to following along with your adventures.

What year is this ambulance? How and where did you find it? It sounds like it’s diesel
Hi! It’s a 2002, one of the last years Ford made the 7.3l Powerstroke diesel engine. We found it through an ambulance dealer in Rhode Island. Meade flew out there then drove it back to TX. There are lots of dealerships that sell these types of vehicles, I think we used ambulancerv.com for a list of resources!
@@theorybybecky Thanks, great information
