Who are these sad strange people who actually gave Bob Ross a 👎? I sincerely don't understand folks who don't appreciate him.
He is hated in the art world. We would get an F for the day in art class if Bobs name was mentioned.

The true joy in watching Ross is not just his paintings, but his calming demeanor. He brings a lot of peace to many weary souls in this world now. And I thank him for that.
Anyone who doesn’t love Bob can suck it ! This man encouraged more people to get into art than anyone else in our current generation.

I literally play a whole season starting from the 1st episode on autoplay to help me fall asleep. It never fails me. On the plus side i also noticed i never have any bad dreams. It's amazing for insomniacs. Bob Ross saving lives.

When I was a child growing up in Jamaica in the 80’s our only TV station at the time (JBC) would air these every evening at 5pm some of my best memories watching with my parents, Bob will always be our guy 🙏🏾🇯🇲

I don't know what happened. This is my first time watching Bob Ross ever. I was in complete awe as stroke by stroke he created such life that tears are rolling down my face. For a home that I've never been to. One that doesn't exist but on that canvas and in my imagination. Thank you Bob Ross. Rest where perpetual light may shine upon you.
I would rather watch Bob Ross than a movie or a show because he creates a story on a canvas stroke by stroke.

I could film 1000 videos and never come close to how relaxing this man was just by his very nature. He is the reason I paint these days and I wish I as close to this good!!
I've done 3 paintings and they turned out pretty good but not even close to Bobs, of course but I had no idea I could paint! Just watching his vids.. in your first painting I guarantee it will amaze yourself. Love ya Bob, the world, especially now in 2022 misses you and your calmness, demeanor and happy trees! The best thing about Bob is that he knows what he needs to do for the painting, but he still says things like
"Oh! Maybe maybe maybe... we'll do this!"
"Oh! I see something here! Let's get crazy!"
Like he's coming up with it on the fly, making it even more fun to watch and see what he's gonna do.
I had never noticed that. It makes him all the more endearing, to hear him take you on an adventure like that, instead of going, "What you must do now is..." Which is pretty impressive considering how he always had a finished painting just off-camera.

I like to think about how the magic of Bob Ross came to be.. I can picture it perfectly: he finds relief from tough times in his life through painting - it becomes his passion, and he shares his methods with the world so they can join in with him and experience the same path of therapy that he walked. When he made these videos, alot of the magic and good vibes of him teaching and helping others was captured when he was showing others how to paint.. and now, even though almost none of us are painting along with him, we still feel the peace and calm emanating from his videos. It was, after all, only people who were painting, and truly traveling alongside him, who were watching these videos, originally.. he never could have foreseen just how much joy and peace his painting could have brought to others simply by watching.

once I tried to paint along with him. I looked down at my painting to work on it. 5 seconds later I looked up and there was pure glory shining from the screen. 'How did he do it so fast?" I thought... right as he said "It's no work at all!"
I used to watch this show when i was a kid, i believe it was on Sundays and that was the highlight of my week. I just loved watching his canvasses come to life. Not to mention his voice was so relaxing.

This one reminds me of drives through California. A lot of little cabins on brown hills just like that.

Sometimes I do wake up to the intro/outro music but usually fall back asleep in a minute. Now the CZcams ads, on the other hand... that's a bigger problem x_x

Sunset clouds seem to always be a bright neon orange. Brown is a color for all of Bob's happy little trees.
