Dear most of Americans, Thank you for your condolences and thoughts. We'll cherish our Queen for all eternity. We appreciate that you acknowledge how special she truly was.
My deepest and loving condolences to Her Royal Majesty the dearly departed Queen Elizabeth II and her wonderful family. Thank you for your honourable service, gracefulness and inspirational fortitude. Thank you for the fruits of your exceptional legacy that has brought about the highest level of civility throughout all of human history and has provided an abundance of increase in the quality of life, dignity and livelihood to countless lives, and continues to do so. May your wonderful memory be cherished for many generations to come. Thank you.*
To put in perspective how long The Queen lived & served, she was born when Coolidge was President, been on the throne since Truman was President, & has been around to see 39% of our country's history.
I am Indonesian🇲🇨. Proud that The late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II visited us Indonesian people in March 1974...six months before I was born😊. She visited 3 city : Jakarta, Yogyakarta and also Bali.
Beautiful place. Purple and silver are the Queen Elizabeth’s royal colors. Yup. We need that to honor her life and passing at 96. We need to mourn her and the family ...she left behind. Monarchs are different from Americans- who don’t have any world war experiences or anything. (To say she was ww2 was great for me -since my own dad served four years as a radio operator... aboard the USS Californian battleship carrier.) We found the family memorial pictures of the carrier Naval ship plus, his Naval suit buttons and the bar he was given plus the papers he signed. Naval officers were average guys back then. Queen Elizabeth was just a girl.. then. Wasn’t sure.. if she would be a royal family members. Her dad served first. Yup. 🍁⭐️🇺🇸🇬🇧🍒Deeply sad this afternoon. Thank you 🙏!
If anyone's wondering Lyndon B Johnson was the only Us president not met by the queen, it was because he didn't like their prime minister at the time because he didn't support Johnson in the Vietnam War
Actually LBJ was keen to attend Churchill's funeral in 1965, and he would have met the Queen then, but he was recovering from surgery and doctors advised him not to travel.
Thank goodness Elizabeth II did so much for Anglo-American relations. Her death should remind us why the UK has a monarchy (there has been much publicity, not much thought about why the late queen matters). Monarchy shouldn't be used as real-life soap opera, nor just as material to fill space in the media. The achievement of the British monarchy should become clear in comparison with the histories of other countries. In the 19th & 20th centuries the U.S.A, France, Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain and Greece suffered in various ways civil wars, political storms, and dictatorships. This shows what can go wrong in the absence of a head of state which is above politics, and which opposes illegal dictatorship. If there are many reasons England, Wales, and Scotland have had no civil war since Culloden in 1746, having a constitutional monarchy to unify all the people is an important reason. In the UK, 'peace' in formal speech is "The King's Peace". Of course King Charles III's first marriage was a tragic mistake; Prince Philip could be tactless; he & Elizabeth II made mistakes as parents. Whatever mistakes the royal family have made, let us be grateful for the unity the monarchy gives the UK & the world. By stabilizing Britain & the commonwealth (e.g. Canada & Australia), it promotes peace in the world. The sea around it didn't protect the U.S.A. against civil war in the 1860s, and the UK could have suffered civil war over slavery in the 19th century; likewise over world war, loss of empire, economic failure, or race in the 20th. There will always be violence and political problems in the world, and billions of people who know or understand nothing of the British monarchy and the stability it brings. Since the 1700s, billions of people have lived under the British crown without civil war, lynching, dictatorship in their lives. God save King Charles III, and his successors.
As me as I consider a consider the United States a British colony and I could see her pretty much being British so yes I considered the us being British Brenda United Kingdom
That’s not even close to true. Maybe the original colonies, but what is today the United States didn’t exist until 1783. Our style of government was created to be essentially the polar opposite of the kingdom we just defeated. Our values eventually came to align quite closely but that is essentially a coincidence
@Prince N are you doing drugs ? The United States is made of 51 states only 13 states were British controlled other then that the United States literally build themselves up
Our beloved President PUTIN the world's most popular leader with PM MODI called Queen Elizabeth a very intelligent lady. He always spoke highly of Queen Elizabeth. God 1st Yuliya 🙏✝️⛪
Fun fact: both Queen Elizabeth and her counterpart King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand died on the year of their Platinum Jubilees, one died 3 months after her celebration while the other died 4 months after his celebration!!
Let's also have a moment of silence for slaves and victims of the British imperialism colnization and slavery around the world, the queen condoned as ok
Many countries on earth have monachy ,but The Queen Elizabeth ll is the longest reign one and almost lot of coloniel(tons immigrants migrants ) , and then Thai king 9 . In my eyes UK no needed federation .Otherwise is will be big illusion to release all of it eligible , and also scotland referendum still in place . They must optimist the rule party
@Steven William Bayless Parks She saw the end of the British Empire and Colonialism. Winston Churchhill wanted to continue it, but she went on her royal tour in 1954 to visit the common wealth. Also, when Margaret Thatchet was PM, the queen decided to visit south africa and the continent to take pictures with their leaders, as a positive sign to the apartheid that was happening in South Africa, something Margaret Thatcher hated and was forced to join.
@Steven William Bayless Parks I'm a white brit and I can tell you I have no guilt what so ever. I'm proud at Britain's historic role in the world although I do recognise mistakes and tragedies that we caused along the way. I'm proud that Britain ended slavery and gave modernity to half the world. It's also worth noting that western Europe would have never been where it is today if it hadn't been invaded and enslaved by the romans nearly 2000 years ago. It was they that brought modernity to us back then, even though it brought tragedy to those who suffered at the time. It's hard to recognise that all those countries that were colonised and all those descendants of black slaves in the USA, most, now have better lives than they would have had , had those events not took place. Your criticism of Elizabeth II being dull. I can see why you may think that but may be that's what is expected from a constitutional monarchy. Not as dull as a piece of paper in my view.
Dear most of Americans, Thank you for your condolences and thoughts. We'll cherish our Queen for all eternity. We appreciate that you acknowledge how special she truly was.
She was a remarkable person!
Her Majesty The Queen. What a wonderful woman she was!! Praying for her family during this difficult time.

@Ethan Robertson LOL
@A J Yes Elizabeth was old and a colonizer
We all knew that
@Ethan Robertson whats your point ?
We had no idea
Aside from being a queen her Majesty's life is simply extraordinary. RIP your Majesty. Queen Elizabeth II.
@Chi-Jen Yang Well, she was a driver and a mechanic in the British Army’s Auxiliary Territorial Service during World War 2
What extraordinary thing did she do that is unrelated to being the queen?
Tribute to the greatest Queen in the world, rest in peace your Majesty you will always remain in our hearts.Long live Great Britain🇬🇧❤💙🇺🇸
God save the King. God Bless America.🇬🇧❤🇺🇸

There's a reason why she never met Lyndon Johnson. What Act did he sign in 1964?
@Joseph Mithamo me too... I'm like who is it 😂
The comment I was looking for
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.......
If you read this I hope you have a wonderful day today 💙✌

How could Obama been so clueless?
Let us not forget, the United States of America is a British creation.
As me as I consider a consider the United States a British colony and I could see her pretty much being British so yes I considered the us being British Brenda United Kingdom

@G_D_B All the founding fathers were British subjects (citizens), even the first president, George Washington considered himself British.
Our beloved President PUTIN the world's most popular leader with PM MODI called Queen Elizabeth a very intelligent lady. He always spoke highly of Queen Elizabeth. God 1st Yuliya 🙏✝️⛪

You won't last a day In the usa
Black Tar
Of course it makes sense. Didn't you watch it? The Queen was head of state of Americas closest ally.
maybe it has to do with all the common fights and deaths in WW2 and Iraq/Afghanistan war.
makes no sense at all
She also met Frank Drebin
Omggg Truman!!! That’s insane!!! That’s a long time ago! I never knew that🫢
She had my deepest sympathies having to deal with Trump.
Family Visits all presidents related to Queen except Trump and Martin van Buuren
She also met with former President Herbert Hoover.
As long as there is NO Virginia the USA does pretty good as a Government.

I must confess, what I will missed most, is the Grim Reaper wearing those different colorful hats. LOL🤣🤣🤣😉
Sure is sad that the last 2 presidents she met were clowns
From Harry Truman to Sharty Magee who identifies himself as Irish (when he isn't) this week.
From Truman to Biden. Wow
LOL @3:56
President Bush junior is such a joker. 🤣
And Obama, the blur....king
I guess no LBJ or Jimmy Carter.

Did queen of England meet anny vice Presidents?
What was the cause of her death - vaccine or war in Ukraine?
@chris l If you say that, it sure is ...
Could be NWO...But who knows exactly.
Old age
1647
Imperialism, colonialism, racism, environmental destruction....so sweet.
@specter290 But she wasn't too keen on Diana marrying a Muslim or Harry a less than pale Anglo-Saxon.
