A little hack for turning the shiney papers into matte finish. Brush a thin layer of Elmer's or any other brand, white school glue over the shiney paper. Let it dry and voila you have matte! Thanks for sharing your haul. I am temu obsessed as well!!

Holy Moly girl!!! You got an incredible haul and I have to go and see this shop. The big prints on canvas are gorgeous! My room needs some. I love the Lunar Moon goodies too. I love everything. Let’s be real 😂 I have anxiety too with CPTSD, so I get you. Buying like this is my jam too, but each being really cheap $ wise is what I go for. More bang for my buck kinda thing. My hubby loves me getting my creativity going because he loves to see me happy, and as he’s an artist too, with paintings, I’m ok spending on what makes me happy within our retirement funds. Honestly I don’t think most people would really know if it’s scrapbook or junk journal supplies on whether or not they were copied or stolen images, ect. so your not alone in that. The only things I noticed were fakes were the tarot card decks and I don’t usually buy those but there is one color based deck that is in my cart the is a fake but I don’t care as I’m planning to only use it for journaling and it’s one I already want to work with so I’m gonna be picking up an actual legit copy of the deck anyway. But I’m pretty new to that kind of journaling so I’m also been looking for inexpensive stuff that fits what I want to do/ design. I hope you enjoy all the journaling bits… the next issue will be how to organize it all through, lol.

Organizing seems to be a never ending battle! I’m great at overpacking a storage box and then never wanting to open it again because I will mess it up so why not just buy a new one 😬

Those Alice in Wonderland stickers are from the original illustrations and are public domain. Disney artwork is still copyrighted, but what you bought is not based on Disney’s adaptation.

Anything that arrived messed up you can easily get a refund on. Go to your orders and there’s a button for return or refund. Most likely they’ll refund and not care if you keep it. I had to do that with an item. It’s quick and easy! I love Temu.

This is my first time on your channel. I have just recently found Temu, so that is what brought me in. First off I have had a very good experience with Temu's customer service. I got something that didn't work (and yeah it was less than $2) they refunded me and did not want the item back. I also want to thank you for your concern about counterfeit items...that never occurred to me. Also, I thank you for showing your canvas prints, mine should be here next week.
I had zero issues with them refunding the item also. I just hadn’t found the right spot to address it on the app. Glad your experience was also positive! Thanks so much for watching!
I've loved every bit of journalling stuff I've ordered so far I was slightly bummed the gentleman were much larger scale than the ladies I bought! I'm addicted to TEMU!

For the package that was open in the return section of Temu there’s an option for missing items. They’ll ship you a new one.
Don’t feel bad about complaining. I received items that were not the size listed and one item where 3 out the 15 were broke. I filed and they refunded immediately.
They ended up refunding the item with zero hassle. As per usual, I was overthinking it!
Try a matte finish or matte mediums on top to reduce the shine you don’t want

Hey, don’t feel bad. $20 doesn’t go far these days unless you’re at a discount store. I have yet to actually place and order from Temu, but there are so many things I want. I’m just trying to narrow it down for the first order. Lol My mom had gotten a couple of things from them already and they both seem like good quality products. I just found your channel and I love your style of filming and all of you’re creativity.

Craft Artists license their designs from China and then make it a better product at a higher cost. Some designs have been retired by the artist. It’s up for grabs on a smaller scale. It gets your start in crafting on a limited budget. It’s ok to buy the cheaper version. When I have $30 I’ll buy a Tim Holtz rubber stamp set.
The ones that are mad you buy supplies from China. Well turn over your stuff at home and look at the label Made in China.

I’ve noticed TEMU increased their prices and shrunk the products. Lol read the description, but many measurements are for the box not the sticker inside. Thanks

Good question! Some of it is saved for future giveaways, some items have videos planned around them. Mostly I need to get busy crafting!
Hi. You can get rid of the shiny by applying matte medium, clear jesso or matte varnish. Keep up all you do.💓

I prefer clear gesso for turning shiny to matte.
You go to your order to return upload a picture and comment. You don’t contact the sellers. They give you a choice credit or refund. For 30 days check for a price adjustment.
If the bag is late they credit you $5. You can return once on each order. I had bent stencils and got credit for all of them. TEMU contacts the vender to decide if you return it or keep it.
Has anyone noticed Items are shrinking to micro mini as well. Read the measurements.
When you click on an item twice Temu adds it to your cart. Before you buy look at the invoice totals.
If you mention 2-3 words of their description we can locate the items or download your order on the video as a link.

Did no research but from memory all the Alice stuff is free from copyright. The author Lewis Caroll falls under the date limit where it is not copyrighted… but would have to check. It is not Disney stuff.
My company does black label and sometimes people resell with our label on it. It makes us more money because they buy a lot in bulk to resell so if someone does resell someone else’s design, they actually may be authorized to do so which ultimately makes the creator more money so if you see it, maybe you should check to see if they have authorized sellers or authorized dealers because you may be buying from someone that they want you to buy from because then they’ll have to come back to the original company to restock. Also your haul makes me want a part time job so I can order…I ❤ it ALL!!!!

You are right, there is a lot of stolen art at Temu. I try to buy generic vintage stuff. I have noticed that there is a lot of Tim Holtz and Stamperia copies or what I call « 99% inspired by »… yesss the struggle is real, buy from the licensed sellers and distributors or get ten times the stuff for $$$ less. You loose in quality but profit in quantity… not judging just adding to your conversation. The most copyrighted problems I saw were in the clear stamps and die cute categories. Thanks for talking about this. It’s a real problem. But what can you expect from a Chinese wholesaler… one day, we are all going to have to think about cutting the cord

All you have to do on that empty package is to reach out to TEMU through the chat part and let them know all you got was an empty package. They will probably just refund your money and not ask for the package back. Just let them know which item it was on your order list. They are very good about that sort of thing.

The title of the item is “Retro Tag Can Write Sticker Bag Label Message Series Literary Salt Series Journal DIY Material” in the color Yellow. Not sure if that is helpful at all. When I go back to my order and click through, they come up as sold out from the seller/store I purchased them from (Jing he) but maybe there are other sellers that have them. Having worked with many different stamp companies I can tell you that you'll often find the same stamp design with different companies, because many of them use copyright free clip art. Having said that I do know of one big company that has original art and do see it being sold on the cheap😑
I can’t even imagine the amount of time and energy that goes into the process of bringing art to life. To have it stolen would be crushing. It’s definitely a problem.
the Alice in wonderland is from Stamperia collection and it is from the old world not Disney trade mark. Found out that they were rejected from the maker and was mass produced with wrong size. Just like the stamps that are like Tim Holtz, or they are out of date.

Can you tell me what product with the little cards (with the bar codes) are called. I think they are stickers - really small with the - don't be sad - sayings. Really can't figure out any words to search for it.
I ordered from Temu yesterday for the first time, can't wait to get my package. I use to order from Ele express and they were pretty good but!!!! My last order was over a $100 and they sent it to another state. I reached out to them but no comprehend, lol. They just didn't understand what I was telling them, anyways I never received my items, and I never got reimbursed! So that's my last time ordering from them!

Hi Connie, I only buy from places that accept PayPal. PayPal will give you back your money or go after the store that you have a problem with. They are truly a business that cares for their customers and how they are treated. I just figured that if a store won't use PayPal it's because of their bulldog way of going after someone who is not being fair with their customer. Sorry, you lost your money. Don't care who you are $100 is too much to just write off. Any amount is too much. Fairness should always be used in business. Hoping for better shopping in your future!
Alice is one of those weird ones that as long as it's not Disney it's not copyrighted now which is why it's one of the few that pops up everywhere. I've seen a lot of the same art on this type of thing I've seen in digital design but the sites I'm recognizing most of it from have commercial licensing... I haven't come across any blatant theft that I have seen yet.... doesn't mean it not but ya know it's often hard to track back to the original artist half the time.
Very true. And I don’t know enough about how wholesale works so maybe that’s what is going on with the stamps I’m seeing that belong to an artist I’m aware of. I’m just not sure what to think of it. Short of ordering the stamps from Temu to see if they comes in the original artist packaging, I’m not sure how to determine it. It’s a messy gray area for me. Thanks for your insight into it!

The old Alice in Wonderland stickers are old illustrations. I’m sure the copyright has expired if it was even copyrighted.

What is the 40. Dollar discount and the 30. Coupon on your order
On the first order, that was a coupon that was automatically applied because it was my first order. On the second order, they sent me a code because I spent over a certain amount (I think that’s how that worked). Unfortunately, both codes have expired or I would share them. Have you ordered with them before? If not, they have some awesome discounts for first time orders!!
When you do a return it will have you take a picture and they send you a refund. You don’t have to send it back. I’ve only had one issue and it was super easy to take care of.
It was a super easy process once I figured out where to go!
I just had a wax seal kit that I purchased. When it arrived it was NOT as described so I started a return. I too had to take a picture, but I did have to return the item. I choose the option to have the refund issued to my account because it was suppose to be the quickest way and I knew I would place another order. However, they do not refund the money until the product is received and inspected. So I’m still waiting. Reading about other people returning items, it sounds like it depends on why an item is being returned.
