Liechtenstein is SUPER tiny and not very interesting. So it doesn't surprise me when people have never heard of it. I live less than an hour away. It's easy to miss it when driving by on the highway. I have never even met anyone who was born there.

As a person who studies and is learning about geo-politics & geography at school, this clearly wasn't even a shock to me, lol. They even put their nation up for rent once for about $ 70,000 USD a day. And that granted you perks such as being able to customize / change street signs and names, change the state's currency temporarily, have the opportunity to be the Head of State for that day, and go wine-tasting with the states' Head of State, amongst other perks that are included once you actually sign and complete the leasing / renting contract.
Also, he isn't wrong but he isn't right on Liechtenstein being “the richest” in Europe (or the world). it's actually Monaco, for those whom are wondering. Monaco possesses a $ 173,688.20 GDP per capita, whilst Liechtenstein, held a $ 169,049.20 GDP per capita, making it the second richest country in the world when calculating GDP per capita.

I went there a few years ago and a burger King meal was 23 euros lunch was 20 to 30 euros so expensive I spent 10 days here and it was the most expensive place I've ever visited but its absolutely beautiful go to laguno the mountain scenery is out of this world

I been there back in the early 90's when I was stationed in the US Army in Germany. Nice country.
I can tell you that, sadly, it is more expensive to live in New York than any city in Switzerland or Lichtenstein. I've been to and spent time in both. Lichtenstein is indeed small. For a tourist, there's not much to see. That whole region is, however, is definitely a paradise. Try the fountain water. Any fountain!

Yes, I'm actually a Lichtensteiner and can confirm that this information is correct! Every house has atleast 3 cars parked in them! This is mainly because we hire people from other countries to do the boring work, maintaining steets etc., while the actual Lichtensteiners go to school and get a good education! It might sound wrong, but the workers are very well-paid and that is the main reason people from other countries want to work here! They live in hotels with internet access and all the other necessities. Overall, we live a great life here!
