I must say that the Moritz Grossman watch from the previous Boris visit was outta this world compared to the one brought this time. Sooo, Alchemist for me out of the pack.

What a fantastic episode! That Moritz Grossmann is something else. I love the hues but also how the guilloche isn't centered radially. Truly something different. $60k euros??? I was expecting so much more....

To be able to meet your guest Boris Pjanic & to be introduced to watches this way is something so many of your subscribers want. If I had a choice of which watch to buy tomorrow it would be the...(I will need another few weeks to decide whether it is the Moritz Grossman or the Alchemists, then again the Strehler...no the Grossman!

@@BorisPjanic Apologies for the confusion & now my long response: What I meant was that if I had to choose ONE watch from the 3 you presented, then it would be very hard for me to do, as they are all extremely beautiful. Having said all that, I now think it would be the Moritz Grossman, due to the extremely unique way it was designed with your personal input. Actually the way that the minute & hour hands DO NOT line up precisely at the upper part of the surround to the "dots" because of the uneven width of the outer circle, ADDS to the design, in my humble opinion. There is something ironic in the fact that you & the watchmakers have created an extremely accurate & precise instrument, only to knowingly allow for some non precise element as a compromise for the amazing Sunset effect on the dial. A touch of humanity if you like!
I believe we will meet sometime & perhaps I will be lucky enough to purchase a watch like this.

In the heat process of the hand or really any heat anodizing its your browns and bronze first then at a greater heat you will get into the blues and violets. Thats if they are steel titanium us all done with electrical current submerged in distilled water

Its insanely beautiful and the work of Grossmann is truly perfect. So are the other two.

Hi, do you have a list of micro brands that are still within the 30-40k range and are a good investment
I don’t have a list and I wouldn’t advise them for investment purposes. If u want to invest your money go on the stock market or start a business.
These people - Strehler, Voutelanen, Dufour etc. are wizards.

The alchemist is a lot inspired of Jacob & Co 😏
There is probably more inspiration from Bovet where the watchmaker was working for 17 years... the watch is still in its own world. The watchmaker was a student of Philippe Dufour as well.
