- A digital stabilization and combination of 2 security cameras. With stable footage, using Google Streetview and the reflections of streetlights on the car, I was able to correctly align the footage, showing there is an overlapping region, and the few missing seconds on the colour footage may show events more clearly since Sheppard was stopped at least partially within its field of view. The Benetton camera points West along the sidewalk, and the Wall camera points Southeast.
This is cut from security camera footage showing the car driven by former Ontario Attorney General Michael Bryant ramming cyclist Darcy Allan Sheppard, immediately prior to Sheppard's death from being dragged down the street, colliding with obstacles and being run over.
My blog honestedits.blogspot.com/ has streetview links to the camera locations.
*** This footage is unaltered except: re-sizing / cropping to fit, whole frame re-positioning for stabilization, overall brightness contrast adjustment for clarity, cuts between camera angles, and unavoidable artifacts from the video compression algorithms used on the source footages and youtube publishing. - Music is "Ride On" by Christy Moore
I want to favorite this because it's excellently put together and great work, but I can't do it because I never want to see it again.
We can only hope for justice in this case.
Makes even more sense now from the top down view there. Thanks for that...
So the ex-head of law in Ontario ... .
This is unbelievable. Once again our University trained elite acts above the law.
I don't see much there, I think it's more likely that she spots Sheppard and Bryant turns to see what she's pointing at. This could indicate that the dispute between the motorists and the cyclist started earlier. It could also indicate that the passenger was partly responsible for instigating the altercation as well.
could you tell me what song is it in this video??
Holy crap, well done!
God bless man, keep it up!
@dawgawful regardless - such an infraction certainly is not punishable by RAMMING WITH CAR .... ?
Great work on this video. Thank you. I just hope that Sheppard gets the justice he deserves after all this time. I just don't have much faith in any facet of our System doing the right thing, serving the interests of the people- not protecting the guilty because they happen to be rich/powerful
