The Heart of Bohemia: Chatty Flip Through of a Junk Journal Inpsired by the Magical Gem Moldavite

- Hello, my crafty friend, and thanks for tuning in! This flip through is of an overstuffed little journal I made that's inspired by my all time favourite gem, Moldavite. Moldavite is a tektite, which means, it's an impact glass formed by meteorite strike, containing in it's glassy makeup both terrestrial and extraterrestrial materials. It embodies, literally and symbolically, the adage, "As above, so below." I didn't get much into it in the video, but it's known to catalyze transformation for the better, and sometimes that change comes more abruptly than comfortable. So if you buy the journal, just a heads up- the Moldavite I used in the brooch and ring is real and powerful! Anyhow, the shade of green in the fabric inspired me to add Moldavite to this beauty of a book. It also has a full deck of 78 miniature Tarot cards, and some fun ephemera. Aw, hehe, thanks Rox! I also love adding the tiny Tarot cards! And, like Cat Stone commented, they kinda make a book feel like something you can pick up and go with, and work out of, and live a free spirited sort of life, earning on readings as you go. (A romantic idea, and my literal life in my early 20s... though I had a solid base out of which to read.) Thanks again! 🥰❤❤❤

Sarah this is a masterpiece for sure. The jewels you included are amazing and and you again bounded the most different stuff into one beautiful story. As a little sidestory: the stamp with the dragon comes from Austria and shows the „Lindwurm“. He‘s the the town’s landmark of Klagenfurt the capitol of Carinthia, one of our 9 federal states. The story tells that he took many young maids from the town before he could be defeated by a trick I think😉 …

This one seems like the small book that she would tuck into her cummerbund as she travels …ready to tell a fortune and read the Tarot for someone she’s encountered along her way. Then using a page or two to write a small memoir of a
