usually watch these videos to fall asleep, they're very relaxing. that being said the absolute terror i felt hearing that giggle at the beginning while i was about to fall asleep was unparalleled. 10/10

He literally lined up the brass screws so that the lines matches. Thats the content I live for. lol Great job, my guy!
I appreciated the clocking of the screws as well.

Wow that outcome is unreal.
Dear Santa…..
Hello there! I didn't know you watched this channel, Elliot!
Hi Elliot!
@@KyloBen2016 They actually collaborated already in the past^^
@@noisykestrel Oh, yeah. I forgot about that.
Your restorations are always amazing, but the way you keep us smiling is priceless. Glad to see you back with a new one. I’m a tool guy and I love all of your new tools you use.
The briefcase of router bits was impressive.
0:56 - I'm in awe of the quality of stickers way back then: you stick them concealed between a rusty metal leg of a grape crusher for decades, and when you disassemble said leg they are still there, perfectly preserved. They totally don't make them like they used to!!!
Hahaha😂 i think it's stupid to put subscribe stickers everywhere anyway🙄
@@koen_bakker Yea it was kinda stupid but at least the videos were interesting
Didn't know CZcams existed way back
Ahh your a stickerhead like me!
@@frstwhsprs It didn't. It just proves time travel is real.
So... Did anyone notice the juice was spilling everywhere and then suddenly in the next shot it was all gone? 😂
Thought I was seeing things. 😂
It's movie magic... It's like Orlando Bloom doing that jump on to the horse in LotR... 🤣
Yeah I was just too polite to mention it.
I saw it too but i telled my self maybe its bc of a reflektion if the galss or smt like that
I think its from the pour thing not being on tight enough
It looks like the Termites enjoyed the wood as much as the people enjoyed the wine. Nice resto as usual. I miss the frequency of your videos. I hope you can post more more frequently.
Keep well.
I doubt they enjoyed the free sauna that came with their meal though.
Considering its a food handling tool, I believe all the wood parts should have been new and sealed food grade specific oil. But great work as always
I'm surprised this isn't a top comment.
No one is going to be using this. It will be a decorative piece
@Adam Ridama to show it works. No one is going to use it 😂
@Adam Ridama yes, he's going to be pressing his own grape juice, enough to where the finish is going to matter. He's actually starting a fresh pressed grape juice business. Derp. There's nothing there that will have any negative effect on your body with the rare use it will receive.
@Adam Ridama you dont need to have inside knowledge. Just a bit of common sense.
Despite not having that much experience with handywork, having spent most of my 35 summers with my nose in books and lectures and peer reviewed studies, and now programming, its always easy to appreciate your work, even for me, and its always a nice treat to unwind to your videos. Especially after a week that had been rough both profesionally and emotionally.
Thanks for that :)
Tysy seems like a really nice guy in person he seems like the type you can sit down and have a good chat with about pretty much anything.
❤😊
This is the most mellow and quiet Daft Punk-video I've ever seen.
Sweet jesus, the intro was SO adorable. I loved it.
Motorcycle scene?
Also 1:40
The result is perfect :)
It is funny how our world has moved from the juicer here to the juicer I see in my kitchen. While I am sure mine has its perks, I prefer how yours looks. Beautiful and functional!
Wow. The combination of the brass screws and green enamel turned out beautifully.
Your restorations are so wonderful! That almost perfect color match with the paint red and the actual juice red was so beautiful!
Every time I watch your videos I'm jealous of your tool collection. Nice idea for the Christmas colors and great restoration as always Tysy.
Just gotta say. Thanks for using a dark background, really helps watching this at night before bed. Makes these videos even more comforting LOL
Congrats, on restoring this masterpiece.
To TysyTube... For restoring and (possibly) fixing this Wine Machine
😎🥂 (Cheers)
My Mechanic is not going to be happy you’re using “I make a new one” 😂
It never ceases to amaze me when you work your wizardry to restore these items!
Although I can only imagine how much fun you had being silly and doing the 'Vroom! Vroom!' noises as you prepped this item. 🙂
Awesome work! It's a pleasure, viewing your videos.
In Hesse / germany your press is called "Kelter" and mainly used for producing "Apfelwein" (apple wine). Our one is in size double as big as yours. Thanx for sharing!
I'm glad you have returned to repairing items like this. Didn't enjoy the electronics stuff nearly as much.
Stopped watching because of those
I have missed plain restoration on older machines! With your fancy tools. I love this stuff!
What a beautiful result. That looks magnificent, Tysy. Everything was spot on from the colors to the wood finish. Well done. Have a very happy holidays and thanks for your channel.
Beautiful restoration 👍👍👍. Thanks for sharing. Some of the comments made relating to this grape press and food safety has led me to me to believe that a large number of the viewers have not heard of modern fruit juicers. 🤣🤣🤣
Amazing how this object turned out. Looks better than a new one 😅
Perfect video to watch when you're ill in bed. Awesome work as per usual!
That is just simply gorgeous. Good color choices. Well done.
EXCEPTIONAL restoration Tysy! It is always a pleasure watching you work. The colors are spot on. The brass screws enhance and make it pop! You are a MASTER of restorations!
Keep up the great work!
I be honest and tell you that while I gave you a like as I really appreciate the effort you put in for the restoration of this timeless equipment, please, please stop sand blasting timber. Just sand it at the most or use steel wool with white spirits to clean it up and if it is riddled with borer then replace it like you did with the barrel exterior. They did not paint, oil or varnish the timber in these grape presses for the reason that they did not want the finishes leeching into the juice (hence why the borer must have loved it - all that extra sugar from the grape juice).
Im no restoration expert but why can't you sand blast wood?
@@mrbappoo7430 wood is not the same density as most metals (although some hardwoods would seem to be) and the blasting can easily strip away the softer grain of the wood causing the piece to be damaged and greatly changed in dimensions. Good sanding techniques will give a more even finish or using various graded steel wool with white or methylated spirits can clean up the timber but is time consuming. On a side note I have seen baking soda being used in a sand blaster as a less abrasive and damaging implement. And yes I have seen effective use of sandblasting timber where the surface of the timber is burnt to give a textured finish that is in line with the grain of the timber.
@@MrAl28111 Likelyhood that he changed the media in the blaster between materials?
I think it's worth noting that while he restores many of these items to a technically "usable" state, more often than not tools like this are being restored as a museum piece. With that in mind paint and varnish are used simply to ensure the tool looks good and will not decay quickly.
@@cavemaneca No argument from me on that. I did mention that if you are restoring it to be used then it would be better to replace the actual part with a new part (reminds me of some other YT channel where it is often said "I make a new one"). I must add that the actual sandblasting did expose the true extent of the damage done by the wood borer (lil bast*rds that they are).
Your choice of products or items to restore is unique.
This is was an amazing restoration.
Hats off
Комментарий в поддержку канала и ролика, а также труда мастера отреставрировавшего старую виноградадавку.
I can't believe what an excellent job you did on the press screw. That was actually stunning to look at.
My favorite part is the sand blasting. So satisfying to see all the rust come off.
Awesome Resto buddy 🔥🔥 .. just remember must choose drive your cycle or drink your wine 😂😂 not both at the same time 😂😂
Absolutely beautiful restoration! I really like what you've done with the camera booth!
Шикарно!!!
Привет с солнечного Норильска...
Wow. Hadn't watched a Tysy vid in years. He really did jump the shark.
This guy just keeps going from strength to strength :)
Absolutely impressive Tysy!
Мужик с чувством юмора😂
The diversity of each video is my favorite part about this channel.
The new workspace is nice.
Terrific result. That thing is beautiful. I can't believe how clean that screw shaft shined up.
What you do is amazing ! It looks better than new keep up the excellent content dude.
Tysy's videos are getting more and more demented with every upload. And I love it. Great job, mate. Have a great weekend.
Pure grape juice, mmm, delicious!!! The Grape Press was splendid!
Nice one! Green Color and brass screws always look perfect together! Love it 😍
The absolute joy of having a good set of tools.
Getting good tools is half the work, dont skimp!
J'adore toujours autant tes vidéos de restauration 🙂❤️ n'as-tu jamais pensé à restaurer une vieille bicyclette d'antan ? Bonne continuation
Thank you for the black background! I watch these videos to fall asleep and normally always has a white background and it’s too bright. Great work!
J'aime bien tes vidéos, parce qu'elle s'en reposante, de qualité et tu fais du bon travail.
very nice, about the only difference I would have done would be to no use a stain, since that wouldn't be food safe (in case you ever wanted to use it for wine again) otherwise very nice restoration!
Agreed
Seu trabalho é incrível, você tem um talento maravilhoso para restaurar os objetos, meus parabéns pela grande habilidade.
Just wanted to say thank you for all of your hard work!!
Finally. I enjoy the power tools being used.
Great work, but you also have to line the inside with cheesecloth when pressing grapes or apples, etc.
Now that was an awesome video Tysy! Excellent job as always!
I love your new tech setups. The lights, camera, and new look of the room are really cool.
Also doubles as a great Christmas tree stand :) Beautiful work!
Ficou incrível!!! Adorei o novo cenário!! Feliz Natal!!
I am inspired by your work,Cool project buddy, an excellent restoration and a beautiful result turned out, I liked it 👍
Brilliant. Well done.
Loved the manic cartoon giggle each time we looked at the psychopathic grinning face 😝
Great job ty ive been watching you for two and a half years now you never disappoint me also thanks for making videos whenever im bored i watch you ❤️
That was one impressive video.not only the restoration but the content of all the filming, makes me smile.just keep doing what your doing and carry on.kudos 👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎
You're video production skills are first class, my friend. Great restoration.
I love his videos, they feel relaxing and sometimes educational.
Well, wine is ready, restoration is done! Amazing as usual, and it's very good when you show your humor too. p.s. you have useful tools, my favorite is sandblaster!
Impressive, though I don't know about the color scheme. I think I would have gone with something like purple and gold/brass, instead of green/red (though green and red do match the season). I would have done the handles and the handlebars different colors, too. Apart from that, this is just about perfect, in my opinion.
I can't say i like all the added sound effects. Theyre kind of intrusive and they detract from the part im here for - the high quality antique restoration. I dont need stock sound effects and motorcycle helmets to enjoy your work. I preferred the white background, too.
Love this. Another work of art. The opening was great! 🔨🪚⚙️
14:32 that sound always makes me smile. 😊
Супер!!! 🤗👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Green and Red , It's a great combination!!! Good Job, congratulations .
Simple, concise, and straight to the point.
The sound effects were pretty annoying lol
😱
Sometime you just need to leave things as is. Please go back to the old format. idk what that power rangers outfit and the sound effects are about!
As a biker, I fully approve the artistic direction of this video...great restoration, as usual! Very nice artifact...love that translucent red on the bottom...a nod to the original configuration, but not covering the grain & character of the wood...🖖🏿😎👍🏿
You always have fun videos with mad skills to boot! Keep them coming!👏🏿
Theres too much editing in the first minute, you dont have to go overboard with sound effects and camera movements 😭😭😭
Beautiful restoration. But around the nozzle and under the thread it looks like leaking. I think you did your best, but sometimes the construction from many years ago is not good enough.
The optic is absolutely great.
WOW, Instant Beaujolais Nouveau ! Brilliant transformation.
That turned out absolutely amazing! I love your little "special effects"
They made the video quality plummet
Won't lie, the use of the circular saw at full arm extension with mild struggle, to get the camera angle, weirded me out. Make sure you're keeping safe, I'd rather have not quite optimal videos than no more videos ever.
I love the video but I didn't quite like the sound effects =\
I just feel like it doesn't fit so well
The juice at the end is very stimulating - fresh and satisfying🤤
Ur painting skills are next lvl it legit always looks like u just painted it it has awesome glow to it
Love your Videos, as always. BUT, we need to have a meeting of people that obsess over pointless Internet things... Is Tysy allowed to use "i make a new one", or not... we shall vote on this.
I think we need to ask My Mechanics 😆
Don't add "funny" effects pls... This channel is awesome like it is.... Just restore the thing
Exactly
A tad little. It was good … and funny.
It's a bit cringey, yeah. I like Ty's stuff, but sometimes feel like he's trying to attract a younger audience with these cartoony sound effects and bits, and it just feels off.
Yeaaaaa i kinda lost the mood to watch this after hearing the effects
Naaaa
Wow you have so many nice new tools. Amazing work as always
Toujours heureuse de voir que certains outils/produits ont un contenant avec du texte en français!!! Le résultat est tellement beau aussi!!
bro, dont make videos this edited you dont have to work more by editing your videos mor than you do just in the restoration, theres no need i like your normla videos without sound efects and stuff, i you wanna make them like this i dont mind but I preffer normal videos :)
not a fan of the new style. all the sound effects, electric tools and less than vanilla camera angles
Tysy, this work was very beautiful! Your dedication is admirable. A hug from Brazil.
Red and green is a total great combination. Right in time for Christmas.
That wood has a warm glow to it, great job!
Great video and lighting setup ! A delight to watch !
I can't help but think the red and green paintjob is quite Christmas-y. ;)
That looks like the best grape juice. 🍇
