Oh Shelia..this brings back memories of knitting with Sirdar wash n wear, that was good yarn , specially for kids clothes. Loved all your different yarns❤
Hi Sheila. I’ve used Sirdar Wash n Wear on toy elephants I make. Its texture is perfect. Unfortunately it’s been discontinued for a while now but I still look on line, especially EBay, and can find it sometimes. Tho not cheap, and p&p adds to the cost.
I agree with you Sheila about yarn having some nylon in it. Definitely kept the shape better 😊

Lovely , lovely happymail ! Beautiful colors-the multi colored one looks like what I used to knit my scarves …the yellowy-ey one looks like a butterscotch shade ! Love the little tin and card too ….

I’m so pleased you liked the balls of wool. I also have some needle protectors I use them all the time I thought they would be useful for all the knitting you have on the go. I am the same hopefully I can get them finished soon 😂 xx

Question- how many knit stitches should I cast on for a scarf for a 1-2year old ?and how many inches long should it be ????

if it's D.K. about 24 sts wide x 28ins long never knitted a scarf for that age Marilyn but my best Guess..
