Ruby Valley in Suzuki Jimny | Toughest Off-road in Nepal
Ruby Valley is a beautiful valley in Northern part of Dhading district surrounded by the hills and mountain range of Mt. Ganesh, Mt. Manaslu etc. The Sertung village, which is the main village or headquarters of Ruby Valley Rural Municipality is approximately 160 kilometers from Kathmandu. It takes about 10 to 12 hours to reach Sertung. In this video, we have tried to capture our experience while traveling to the valley. We witnessed jaw dropping off-road situations, breath-taking uphill hiking and mesmerizing view of mountains. From its name, ruby valley is famous for bearing precious gem "Ruby" underneath its tough mountains and hills. The people are extremely friendly and hospitable.
Itinerary:
Day 1 (vehicle): Kathmandu-Nagdhunga-Naubise-Furke Khola (Dhading) - Dhading Besi - Pashupati Temple - Lapang Phedi - Jharlang - Borang - Sertung.
Day 2 (hike): Hike from Sertung to Machet Kharka
Day 3 (hike): Back to Sertung from Machet Kharka
Day 4 (vehicle): Sertung to Kathmandu.
