Hi! I'm not sure if anyone asked this before but here it goes.. So I've been seeing a feature when reposting Instagram Stories that you'd been tagged. When you repost the tagged story, on the top left side, where the profile picture is, there's also the profile picture of the people that tagged you and there's a repost sign next to it. It's like a collab but it is on stories and you need to be tagged. Do you have any idea how this can be used and are there any qualifications for it? Thank you!

Just figured it out…click add to story and then you can repost as normal and add text/resize or you can click on the post itself once and it will expand the post to the full size and that will show your pic and the other persons

Straightforward answer: You can't share the story to your story unless you're tagged in the story. Screen record instead.

If anyone's looking for how to respost story with the name of the person who mentioned you on the top left corner of the screen, you just need to *double tap on the screen after clicking on add to your story*

How can you share a complete long story when you are tagged in it? When I share, Instagram cuts it short and shares the incomplete story (only 15 secs)

@@alexantonygeorge8992 you click the arrow, you will see an option to download, hit download then you will get a notification saying the download is complete, tap your story to upload a new video and the person’s story will be available for you to post.

Hi! I’ve been having an issue where someone tags me in their story but I can’t add it to my story. The paper plane icon won’t give me an option for me to share it to my story - just to fwd onto other friends. I’ve shared a story I’ve been tagged in before so I don’t get it!Also, the person has tagged another friend in a different story between them two and that friend was able to share the story from the same person onto his story - so I know the person tagging has enabled sharing. Why can’t I, in that same boat? I’m so puzzled. I’d appreciate any tips! My IG pp is up to date, too.

Ok the Main Reason is:
Someone isn't tagged us in their story that's why we can not repost a story‼️ that's all.
