Questa canzone fa parte della colonna sonora del cult movie di Sean Penn "Into the Wild" basato a sua volta sul romanzo omonimo di Jon Krakauer.
È una storia di libertà portata alle estreme conseguenze di un ragazzo, stanco dell'ipocrisia che vede intorno a sé, che lascia la famiglia per cercare nella Natura la sua vera dimensione.
È una ballata dolceamara e molto bella che ho arrangiato in Re maggiore per chitarra acustica, armonica, slide e mandolino (al posto dell'originario ukulele).
