@@McfcMancs I'd argue Joey is still the real king... comparing the technology in bikes now compared to back then makes one realize just how crazy the old heads were.
So much loss in his life, and he’s still got the drive and determination to keep going and reach the very top. A lesson for us all there. ⭐️

It is sad,. A part of me didn't want to see anyone break Joey's record. The fact that it was his own nephew is some comfort. Michael appreciates that Joey and his dad Robert are the reason he's the racer he has become. Anyway.....Joey will always be King of the Mountain.

The variety of bikes he's won on has always impressed me almost as much as his win totals. Doesn't seem to matter what it is, if it's got two wheels and an engine he'll ride it to the absolute limit. Truly incredible.

This sport is like being thr king of your local stoplight to stoplight drag racing. No one will ever know, but the handful that do will never forget. Terrible promotion mad I grew up in the era thr sport was great and just now found it.

Was there at the NW when he won his first race in 2008, that was only two days after he lost his dad in the 250 practice. And now sixteen years later he's won his 27th at the IOM, takes some doing.

Absolutely delighted for MD the real GOAT of road racing. Anything after this is a bonus but i can see 40 wins in him before he retires. Theres still plenty of laps of the TT left in him and will always be at the top or there abouts. Legend

That's the greatest of all time right there.
I'm not going to lie, personality-wise, me and Michael Dunlop would never get on I feel like...
But it's that lifetime of tragedy, determination, inspiration and commitment that's hammer-forged an other-worldly motorbike road racer and you have to acknowledge that he is the talent of a generation.
I work as an engineer in formula one and there's nothing that can compare to what the racers of the IOM TT do. The stakes can't be higher. The prize money doesn't come close to reflecting the excitement or risk of the event... All of them are HEROS to me, but Michael Dunlop is the outright best of the best and he fully deserves it.
I just want to see Conner Cummins get a win now! Come on Conner!
