For cleaning up, maybe a palletfork mounted broom will make things easier? See these things a lot here in the Netherlands

This is the best channel on CZcams. Congratulations. I’d love a factory video again now you have it all dialled in.
How many minutes to fill an ibc.
How many days in the kiln.
How many kg of wood through the burner for a batch.
How many ibc or kg of burner fuel are in the kiln per batch.
    Things like that.
    Cheers

Great ideas I’ll try to get some answers for you, but will need a weighing pallet truck first I think

A weighing pallet truck will tell you how much water the kiln removed. That would be interesting too 👍🇮🇪

Hey man, love your content! Was hoping you could give me some advice on my kiln setup. I built a small kiln that can hold 1 cord of wood and uses wood and propane heat to dry it. Because it is small I can get it up to temp relatively quickly depending on ambient air temp (usually a couple hours). I cruise it at about 140-165* most days. The problem is I have to baby sit this thing and usually can only run it at temp for a few hours at a time before I have to shut it down and leave. Even with the kiln temps at 165-170 and my relative humidity inside the kiln at 10-12% I'm wondering how much longer I'm going to have to run my setup compared to someone that can run 24/7.
Do you happen to know if say it takes "x" number of hours to dry down to 20% moisture content at a given temperature, does that have to be all in one go or can you break it up the way I am doing and only run it when I can for 4-5 hours at a time? I put a loosed stacked fresh cut face cord of ash in there for testing and probably have 5 or 6 days I've run it part time at 4-5 hours each time at an average temp of around 150*. I'm still measuring mid to upper 20's for moisture content on fresh splits (they tested at near 50% when first processed off the splitter). Not sure if this is good progress or not, I have no comparison points. Maybe it isn't worth running if it can't be 24/7? Not sure, just a bit frustrated and would love some advice, thanks!

Good evening, I realize that this is an expense. Have you considered a third container, and burner. To increase your drying, and seasoning time. Just a thought, you would be increasing your volume of wood, Joe Capo.

Going to try with seasoning timber first and see how long it really brings down drying time with 1 burner and the burner is the biggest cost.

Throwing chips! You can sharpen a saw 😎
Would you say the bark box has slightly improved power it seemed to rip

The 500i is a beast anyway. Almost like having a supercharger on, the more you lean on it the more she eats. But the bark box has improved throttle response for sure
