They all absolutely nailed it and I loved the singing from the rap line and Tae's ending but that long note of Jin's at the height of the song is just pure *chef's kiss* (Coldplay congratulated them on a job well done *in Korean* on Twitter)
Jin knocked it out of the park with that last belt on Fix You. That was absolute perfection. They ALL did great, don’t get me wrong. I just felt Jin deserved an honorable mention there.

If I remember correctly suga wrote it during covid. He said it was about the time between bts and army. And how they miss each other. He said it just came to him. And the cover for fix you oh my God it's my fav cover they have done. I listen to it alot. This was the first song where I heard RM’s singing voice, and wow. I know he’s a rapper at heart, but he really needs to pull these vocals out from time to time. 😍 And Suga!! We knew Hobi could sing, but rap line really brought their A-game for Fix You.
I have almost run out of words to describe how good this is [Fix You] and how it makes me feel - suffice to say that the first comment on the official link for their performance is Coldplay themselves [that says it all really]. For me, until I heard BTS do this cover, Disturbed's version of the Sounds of Silence was the greatest cover I had ever heard ever - then BTS came along and said * here, hold my beer * 💜
Fix You is one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands (watching them live this January, in fact, yay!). And, I will not say that BTS did it better but, I will say that they covered this song respecting the original while bringing into it so much of their own stamp, individuality and, beautifully unique sound. It was just pure genius and a truly masterful performance from each and every one of them.
I absolutely love this unplugged Fix You and Telepathy! I love when they do almost any cover. But Fix you, the harmonies from the rap line and vocal line is so beautiful! Telepathy is so catchy I’m going to have it stuck in my head even after watching V’s amazing release. 😂💜👏👏👏🤗

I don't write very often but, there is someone you have not reacted to in some time now. He is Dimash. There is a song Dimash sings at his Almaty concert and it is called....El Amor En Ti. This is a song that he wrote for all of his Spanish speaking Dears and he sings it in Spanish. Dimash had promised he would write a song for them and I know you will just LOVE this performance. Doing the octaves with the rap line for Fix You was a beautiful choice. It gives so much more texture than if just the vocal line was singing. Don't get me wrong, the vocal line is superb in this, but the addition of the octaves was perfect to fill out the song.

Little side note, those are not actually harmonies. People improperly use the term "harmony" all the time 😅 an harmony is when two or more singers sing DIFFERENT notes at the same time. In this song, the rap line is singing the EXACT same notes as the vocalists, but an entire octave lower. The notes, however, are exactly the same. Throughout the song there here are also harmonies, but in a few precise instances, such as when Jimin, Jin and RM sing together "and I will try to fix you" right before the big instrumental part. There, they are harmonising with each other, cause Jin and Jimin are signing different notes.
I disagree - that was just Jin and RM singing that line before the instrumentals. Jin was singing high harmony and RM sang the main melody in a lower register. Jimin sang with RM in the first line after the instrumentals.

There are many BTS covers (especially from Jungkook), but my all time favorite is Fix You. Perfect Man comes really close but the coals and harmonies on the Fix You Cover is hauntingly beautiful. I adore it so much. Also Luke I’m surprised you haven’t done a BTS quiz yet! There are so many.
