    In this video, I'll guide you through two distinct styles of shampooing-back wash and side wash-while incorporating scalp manipulation, scalp massage, and a rejuvenating hot towel treatment.
    A proper hair and scalp analysis precedes any shampoo service, ensuring the selection of appropriate products. I'll be using my daughter, Eva, as a model to demonstrate these techniques.
    Let's dive into the step-by-step process to elevate your shampooing skills and enhance the overall client experience.
    * Client Preparation:
    * Conduct a thorough hair and scalp analysis.
    * Request the removal of jewelry and any clothing items that might interfere.
    * Pre-Shampoo Draping:
    * Use two towels for draping-one under the cape and one over.
    * Securely wrap the towel around the client's neck and ensure it goes over the cape.
    * Position the cape behind the chair to prevent water dripping onto the client.
    * Initial Hair Wetting:
    * Ensure the hose is pointed down into the sink.
    * Wet the hair thoroughly, focusing on creating ample pressure.
    * Use hand movements to lift and scoop the hair, ensuring it's uniformly wet.
    * Detox Shampoo:
    * Begin with a detox shampoo, focusing on removing product buildup.
    * Work the shampoo into the hair, emphasizing scalp contact.
    * Perform circular manipulations starting from the hairline and progressing backward.
    * Rinsing Techniques:
    * Shield the face and ears during rinsing to prevent water splashing.
    * Use cupping motions to direct water through the hair, ensuring thorough rinsing.
    * Special attention to the nape area, employing techniques to reach all sections effectively.
    * Second Shampoo:
    * Apply a color-treated, fine hair-specific shampoo for the second wash.
    * Repeat the manipulations, emphasizing thorough cleansing and lathering.
    * Conditioning:
    * Focus conditioner application on mid-shaft to ends, avoiding the roots.
    * Implement circular and linear manipulations for a relaxing and effective conditioning process.
    * Hot Towel Treatment:
    * Cover the conditioned hair with a hot towel to open the cuticle.
    * Apply firm pressure for added relaxation and absorption of the treatment.
    Elevating the shampoo experience involves attention to detail, thorough techniques, and client comfort. By mastering these steps, you not only enhance hair and scalp health but also provide a luxurious and memorable salon experience for your clients.
