The End of an Era | Convention Announcement and More!

Today we are taking a quick drive down International Drive to say goodbye to Whirley Dome who after 8 years closed its doors permanently. I also announce a convention that I will be attending! Let's take close look!

Oh you're really making me homesick for Orlando. Int. Drive is mine and my husband's stomping grounds. We have a favorite hotel that we stay at there that is pet friendly. We are both so sad about Whirlydome closing. They had the best Cuban sandwhiches. It's always so much fun to watch people play there. We know that area really well we have been staying at the same hotel twice a year for at least the last 5 years. Thank you for another awesome video.

I went to Whirly Dome a couple of times. The first time they hosted an event for Central Florida Concierge Association, which I was a part of at the time. Really fun place. Years later I saw myself in a picture hanging in the hallway leading to the bathroom. Too bad they're closing for good.

Whirly dome used to be sports Dominator sports gear store .company I worked for Artistic Adventures made the basketball player aswell as a giant soccer player which was removed no clue where it went we also built and installed a flying saucer and alien coming out of top on left side of build left of basketball players head ,He was painted more like Jordan back n the day he’s been repainted a few times sad to see stuff change that I remover first day of work I sculpted his right for and shoe laces for front foot character was already complete ,fun times thou regardless.

Wow I've never seen I-drive so empty. It's so eerie. We went to the whirly dome a couple of months ago with a mutual friend for her birthday. Sad to see so many businesses suffering and closing as a result of this. I still need to visit spooky empire. Maybe we can meet up and catch up there.

I hope you're right about gatherings like conventions being open by August, Micah...but unless developments are made toward vaccinations and medicines I have my doubts. Let's hope for the best.

Still can’t believe how the world has shut down , I just hope live wild animal markets in Asia are being destroyed and never again will they open , or this could all start up anytime , I think people are forgetting how this All started , bit like world wars the how and the why gets lots in history 😡😡😡
