joseph white In elementary school when I was almost late I used to walk by a big black bell on the wall in the hallway and go "Don't ring... don't ring"
LOL, I take it it was really loud? I hate the bell in my school on the fourth floor on the far left side wall, (Because thats where my locker is) when it goes off it sticks for about 2-3 seconds and rings and it is really obnoxious and loud. Almost all the school bells in my school are really obnoxious and loud, (But mostly its because they ring in the first place! lol) Idk though, I might be thinking of another bell in another part of the school. And also I remember one time when the administrators accused me of pulling the fire alarm, but they found out who it was. (They had a camera pointing at that pull box and they mistaked someone else for me) So, I'm going to wrap up this comment because its way too long and I've been droning on for years. So bye and thank you for reading my comments!
Coffeeandsugar20: if you want to replicate an old portion of my high school you can set it on continuous. Newageserveralarm: oh great… you’re fun That killed me
nice system! This is my fav one so far, i pretty much love bells over horns, i had to grow up with them :p I'm hoping I can wire my own system very soon, I'm thinking of getting a panel and some smoke + heats, make a single stroke bell system :p
Most of the bells at my old high school are wheelock 6” ac bells and 2 of them are potter 6” bells and the outdoor bells are 10” edwards bells, and I’m assuming most of the bells are running on 120v ac and some on 24v ac and they’re used for class change
Im used to old fire systems .4-4-4-4 usually does 4 alarm 1 silence 4 alarm 1silence. 16 beats silence (loops). Same with 4-4. 4 alarm 1 silence 4 alarm 8 silence
I could build something overly complicated to top the i8005 (new panel). But there are some pitfalls in it. Besides there are features in it that would be huge to have.
I'm thinking about using bells like these for the back up alarm for my very first big rig which is gonna be an old 1965 Mack C Model Fire Truck tractor.
That was an FAQ video, not meant to insult. I am not releasing plans for the 8005 at this time. I do have a schematic diagram for the 5001-DC. If you want a copy of it, shoot me a PM and I will give you the link.
We are now saying goodbye to the longed lived, well served Alertek 8005? Twoplyboy? I love his videos. And finally, I can't for the new panel and annunciator!
You should make a system using edwards AC powered adaptahorns as the alarm devices and for the pull stations the round standard electric time pull stations.
When you pull the handle on a coded pull station such as the one you used or on a Simplex T-Bar(large size) what does your hand feel like? I mean can you feel your hand moving when the handle is pulled? Also on the Simplex when you pull the handle all the way and the wheel winds what does your hand feel like? Do you need to readjust your hand/grip after you pull the handle out a bit before pulling it down? What would people think when they see the handle go back up? Would people think the alarm did not work and pull it again? Also when the alarm stops after the 4 rounds does one pull it again if no one has responded? How many times does one need to pull it? On some coded stations does the bell keep going after you pull it even if the handle goes up or were there some old Simplex ones where the handle would stay down? thanks
Daniel 1. LOL 2. If I couldn't feel my hand moving I'd have no feeling in my hand and there'd be something wrong with me 3. LOL again 4. No 5. Most people don't know anything about how alarm devices work so I bet they wouldn't think twice about it. 6. Again, #5. 7. I bet by the time it stops after 4 rounds the person who pulled it will be out of the building because there's a fire. 8. Only once really 9. I have seen one coded pull station where the handle does lock down.
Aren't bells like the earliest versions of fire alarms (besides sirens / horns and AC horns)? I would think so since bells have been around before the 1920s or something
You said in this video system test 30 would be at the end of February or March. Well it is the beginning of August and still no system test 30. Don't mean to be rude, just saying. Will you have it up by the 21st(the day I go back to school)?
My son Franky loves watching this video and he wanted to me to ask you how he can make his own fire alarm? Or can you make him one? He is 10 and is very much into fire alarms. Thank you
When you did you what Annoys me video where you said can I have this panel or can you sell me alarms etc you should've used the SpectrAlert Advance in conjunction with the flashing "X" that DEFINITELY would've gotten the point across LMAO!
When anybody hears the alarms go off, does it remind anybody of everyone who ever went to school's greatest fear? The School In Session Bell?

Are bell is almost silent at our school and are fire alarms are like every yard away because they're so quiet
+joseph white Espicially the gray bell
OMG ikr

The 8005 will be missed by fire alarm enthusiasts everywhere, and its successor will continue the legend for years to come!
This comment hasn’t aged well. 😂😂😂

In new at my school this year, and I came in and I realized that they had 40-50's And every fire alarm test I'm like, BREH
Ooh awesome. Rare to see something like that still in service.
+NewAgeServerAlarm yea, I've asked my friend and he's been there since pre-k he said they still had them, so there old
@@NewAgeServerAlarm I Like Your Home made Fire Alarm Bells
9:52 when the fire alarm goes off at school
Interestingly enough my school uses what used to be fire bells for the main school bell in the hallways.
Continuous is what my middle school fire bell sounds like
Well hello Sean.
5:22 you can see the bell light flashing in the front door
Yea I saw that too
Congrats for the 8005 these vidieos with the 8005 were the best
Continuous sounds like a fire drill at my preschool!
+TheSGplayer12 How do you know what his school's fire alarms sounded like?
HenBasket Memory
3:23 that's what my school pull stations look like. The fire alarms at my school are the EST Genesis which they can be loud during fire drills.🚒🔔📢

The bell in the living room on continuous when the bell doesn’t hit the gong enough my bell does that too

I loved how Coffeeandsugar20 guessed the Fire Lite MS9200 after in System Test 21 videogamer24385 had an issue with his 9200
I like the horns better than the bells. That's just my opinion
Bells are iconic and awesome...
I think horns better
Bells are loud but I think horns are louder
That new panel looks like it is gonna help the coding much better.
Yea finally it’s been YEARS since u had it
sounds like a song to me FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE
Im used to old fire systems .4-4-4-4 usually does 4 alarm 1 silence 4 alarm 1silence. 16 beats silence (loops). Same with 4-4. 4 alarm 1 silence 4 alarm 8 silence
The alarms at my school right now and in 2020 are simplex 4263-1 codes pull stations from 1964 and simplex bells
I just watched System Test 28 re-run, then now 29 is up! nice timing!
intro sounds awesome
Thank you
I could build something overly complicated to top the i8005 (new panel). But there are some pitfalls in it. Besides there are features in it that would be huge to have.
You uploaded this on my birthday!
WHERE IS SYSTEM TEST 30
I loved the 40 30 that is RARE. The specter alert classics are not that loud same as the low volume advances so yeah
But the classics are better than the advances
@@firealarm2903_ yes the spectralert classic is actually my favorite fire alarm
The potter bell in your living room when it was on continuous sounds like the 10" Wheelock and Amseco bells at my school.
10:06 Bells destroyed by TORNADO WARNING
we had potter bells outside the townhomes as sprinkler alarms. i have never heard them go off
My school has a couple potter bells, most of them are wheelock which are used as class change bells
Haven't watched one of these in a while!
i like the 7002t-24 wheelock light because it reminds me of system test 28
I think you're bells so cool
GOOD JOB NEW AGE SEVER ALARM !

What does"ADA" mean?
American Disabilities Act
You should make a system using edwards AC powered adaptahorns as the alarm devices and for the pull stations the round standard electric time pull stations.
When you were going over the bells I actually thought .oO(“This is literally going to be a Bell Test!”)
Hey NewAgeServerAlarm, I just had a question.
What is the name of the model alarm that was in the garage because I loved how it sounded.
Wheelock 31t-115
This just got pretty nostalgic
Yes

When you put your hand on the Edwards bell it sounded funny.
ok, some people do drugs, some people drink, but people playing with fire alarms, kinda weird, but its your thing which makes you special.
what's the model of the Wheelock horn and Edwards bell/Simplex ?
Aren't bells like the earliest versions of fire alarms (besides sirens / horns and AC horns)? I would think so since bells have been around before the 1920s or something
fireandalarm1234 I believe it’s wired Smoke Alarms that came first. There’s a video about it somewhere
+Darcfoxx 101 Interesting..... 🤔
my school uses horn fire alarms in stead of bells which schools usally have
Is there any reason why there's a piece of tape over the top left LED on the panel?
I shit my pants when I saw the title. Plus I'm supposed to be studying for my midterm right now.
Who else is revisiting in 2022
we used to have edward's bells in our school for the recess bell. they got replaced by buzzers.
My old school used to have the Edwards bells but they stoped working so they replaced them with Gentex Commander 3s
The school bells sound is music to my ears!
What brand strobe is that in the living room? Why does it look so bad?
Oh, well then thats good. My bad
Is the Simplex Coded Pull The same size as the chevron. Also what model is your chevron
10:15 drives me crazy
*good*
The Wheelock 7002T has a light bulb instead of a flash strobe. How did you do that with a weird horn strobe?
+Official NewAgeServerAlarm y the name change? it confused me because i thought it was a impersonator channel
Nathan there IS an impersonator.
4:09-4:11 you can hear him saying, ding -ding - ding - ding - ding
Don't schools replace their old fire alarms with new ones so I could get some alarm from my school, or is it the one thing that schools NEVER replace?
+Zach Bowden It's rare but it does happen/
+NewAgeServerAlarm do you still have the pulls or the strobes?when did you start to collect these fire alarms?
I had a replacement lol
Sounds like at a carnival or at an amusement park
ada plate i herd it all now..thinking about installing a bell on the battery charger that goes off wen charged up for oh say 3 pulse or so
The 8005 is like a fast menu time punishment.
Did you make your own brand DIY fire alarm panel
@JMAN123436
None of those. It's the last test with the 8005.
Where is your panel going to be when you have your new panel is there?
R.I.P. 8005. You Will Be Missed
Not really he used it in some mini system tests
The code 4-4 reminds me of our old master box system in town, the fire station was 4-4
did you build that light o. the 7002t or did you buy
continious is MY BUILDING FIRE ALARM
How long did you had the 8006 control panel

The Edwards bell downstairs sounded like my school bells, when it was on continuous
Yes yes all of your homemade stuff is always alerteck
youve been gone for a long time will there be new vids or is all this to watch
Is that Wheelock light rare thats attached to the Wheelock horn?
What are you going to do with the 8005? Im thinking that you should use it for parts for the i8005 or other things.
where did you get the light that was on 31-t
Found it somewhere.
