@@itsnot1984anymoreI'm a believer too. Kid Rock is an imperfect vessel, as we all are. As believers, we have two primary witnesses...our words and our actions. It helps if they align, but the Holy Spirit does not need me or anyone else who testifies of Jesus Christ to be squeaky-clean, teetotaling saints. All that's required is sincerity and truth. But when words align with actions and habits, it does tend to make the witness more effective. It goes from testifying to testimony.
If the heart changes, it stands to reason that thoughts, actions and lives will change in due time. Kid Rock did exactly what he was supposed to do.
Some of the most oppressive spirits I've ever felt rest upon atheists/agnostics...it takes conviction to even broach the subject of Jesus with them because they don't recognize or acknowledge the difference between religion and FAITH...so invariably, casual scorn and mockery are to be expected.
So simply by expressing your faith, you are testing your faith. Will you respond with grace and good cheer, exuding the peace from within which you've claimed by faith? Or will you lash out or otherwise embody a shift towards a negative or adversarial disposition, and match the pride of the non-believer?
Kid Rock is like me, what I and others call a "Bad Christian". But he doesn't try to obscure his flaws or his rough edges for the sake of appearances...and rightfully so, as man is not his judge.
Granted, the Bible does indeed say that God's grace does not need our rebellion and sin in order to multiply. So in being a bit flippant and humorous, Bob Ritchie did indeed fail to communicate sound doctrine in that respect.
Assuredness of salvation can have that effect.

He was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he faithfully walked with God (See, Genesis 6:9). Getting drunk once does not make you a drunkard. Now after the flood, Noah did indeed plant a vineyard and did indeed drink a little to much and got drunk but that was it my friend.

I believe Jesus was simply an ordinary man who got tired of his day to day life and successfully became like a minor cult leader through his charisma and leadership qualities and luckily had his story passed down and grew into something much larger. He started his ministry at THIRTY YEARS OLD. How does the so-called "Son of God" not realize his purpose until he's THIRTY? That makes zero sense. And, he died around 33 years old. So he really only operated for around 3 years with a handful of activities that he's known for...there's just waaaay too much information missing about this man.

For thousands of years the topic of faith in God and Jesus is still here and isn’t going anywhere. People preach it, some fall out of it through worldly distractions, deny it but a lot come back to it time and time again. We are given a free will to follow Jesus. He also gave us the Bible which has prophecy so we not only feel in our hearts what we know to be true but we have signs to look for to further cement our belief. He is real and He is returning again. The book of Daniel and Revelation is full of end time prophecy. Once understood it is truly fascinating and mind blowing how intelligent and planned this whole existence is. The earth, our short human lives and the battle that is.
I was a skeptic almost my entire life and have christ after finally forgiving and loving those who have done the most abusive and vile things to me.
That and humbling myself and loving all around me with zero distinction.

I’ve had spiritual encounters with Jesus! He saved me and completely changed my life! I’ve also seen/felt/experienced demons after I got deceived by new age religion.. I went through a 3 day demonic spiritual oppression and Jesus saved me.. then I had encounters with him throughout time later on.. and just recently remembered knowledge given to me through prayer as a child while going through hard times..and the knowledge ended up coming true. I’m happy to see newer videos of Joe Rogan seeking to accept Jesus! I’m sure many have prayed for him because he is so likable…. I remember I did at one point.

I say all of this to say, in the books written about Yahweh, they actually believed other gods existed, but yahweh commanded the people to put him on a pedestal "above" other gods, which is why blasephmy was such a big deal. Those who say they have to "See to believe" need to think about a pretty amazing line in the movie Contact. Jodie Foster being the skeptic scientist who has to "see to believe" is asked by Preacher Matthew McConaughy " Did you love your Father? She responds, "Yes of course I did" to which he responds, "Prove it." There are some things that you just know and feel but can't "prove" and that is faith. Some things are true whether you believe them or not. I pray for those who do not know or have faith in Jesus, for when you walk with Him life is SO much better.
