Hi Mary! I join you in loving the lip products. Seriously, I do! LOVE the combination that the makeup artist suggested. It's always great to throw our minds open to trying something new. You never know when you might find something beautiful or effective (skincare...). I must tell you that I enjoy hearing you and your partner banter. Clearly you both enjoy great senses of humour. Love the combo. Lancôme makes some great products especially for lips. You mentioned finding a red you like. Closer to your mom’s age and still looking for that. And harder as you get older. Usually I go for a sheer red or red lip gloss which gives the hint of red but not as harsh for my mature face.
Mary, I like that combo for you better than more red colors! I like rms lip light in Bare and lip pencil in morning dew-finishes your lips for day and really flattering! Is pinkish
Looks Great!....What I still can't beat....the lip pencil in Spice by Mac. I fill in my lips with the pencil and it makes my lips look better, a my lips but better shade, and it's matte, so it looks more natural.
Finally catching up on your vids after a super crazy busy spring real estate season! Love, love this look on you. So much I might actually try it. My issue is I never reapply so I'd be left with lip liner rings for hours. 🤣 I just got some of the new Lippie Sticks from Jones Road. I love the color ME. It's just so....well...me!😀 I like that they are very hydrating.

I have a scar from basal cell cancer right where your scar is and for years I never wore lip stuff because it only seemed to highlight the scar not the lips or maybe that was just what I saw….so the only color I would wear was Burt’s bees champagne and that’s it because it made my lips look fuller and didn’t draw attention to my scarring
I completely understand how you feel. I was so embarrassed for so many years. Eventually I stopped caring and to be honest, I just don't see it as much anymore. It's me. And I love lip colour, so I just go for it now!
Every time I watch a video we seem to have more in common! I also have waaay to many lip products. My problem is that nothing stays on my lips. I don't care if it's supposed to be long wearing or even a stain, within 15 minutes it has disappeared! What is the deal? I have the same problem with perfume. My body just seems to absorb everything immediately!

Barbie pink has always been nauseating 🙄 I have Mary’s coloring but my 75 year old mature skin does best with rose tones. From deep rose to fig or to terracotta rose.

I love that combo on you! I buy way too much lipstick, gloss and liners and have not found one that absolutely wows me.

I have absolutely no color on my lips so I look like I don’t have lips if I don’t use something and I’m still searching for a good color.
